[Cynnabar] Grand Tourney Cynna-Bake Sale!

Greetings, Fellow Cynnabar Bakers!

This is the third and final nagging reminder that there will be a bake sale at Grand Tourney this year (Nov. 14) to raise money for the purchase/production of a Baronial shade pavilion (and other worthy Baronial causes)!  Grand Tourney is THIS WEEKEND, so it's time to go shopping for baking ingredients!

I need YOUR help to stock the bake sale table!  Break out your cookie/muffin/brownie/cupcake recipes and thrill us with fabulous flavors and tasty treats!  Savory items such as yeast rolls and bread loaves are welcome also, as are quick breads (zucchini, pumpkin, banana, etc.).

THL Hannah has already promised an "insane amount" of rice krispie treats, Sgt. Irenfest is planning on bringing some awesome no-bake cookiesand Lady Ilse is bringing pumpkin bread.  What are YOU going to bring?

A few guidelines:

-Please bring your items packaged for sale.  Cookies, brownies and bars in ziploc bags or plastic wrap; cupcakes or muffins in appropriate packaging.  Consider that folks may want to transport items home, and a loose cupcake in the back of the car is a bad thing!

-Please consider packaging your items in quantities to sell for $1 (or other even dollar amounts).  Be generous!  Think 4-6 cookies, a large block of brownie (maybe 4" square) or two cupcakes or muffins.  People are more likely to buy if they think they're getting a lot for their dollar.

-Please bring an ingredient list if possible.  It doesn't have to be a full recipe, but so many folks have allergy/sensitivity/food choice issues these days, it's always nice to be able to see what exactly is in the item.

-Remember, bake sale items automatically have NO CALORIES, NO FAT and NO CARBS!!!  Make yummy stuff and buy other people's yummy stuff for yourself!  Take a day off from diets and have fun with food!  :D
