Hear ye, hear ye!

I hereby ask for you ear - then the pen in hand, and your heart in
between. As a new MOAS (Minister of Art & Sciences) I am of course
deeply curios regarding my fellow Cynnabarians arts and sciences and
their future ventures.

I also recognize that you are probably somewhat curious about me too,
if you do not know me, you will probably wonder who I am, running
around and interrogating people regarding their projects - My mundane
name is Ann Asplund, and my SCA name, will hopefully be Arin fraan
Traentorp. Depending on temperature, I usually show up as a viking,
since well, being from Sweden is a good reason as any :) Art wise I am
heavy on all kinds of textile arts - but by no means proficient in
all. My crocheting is hilarious sometimes....but I also do some wood
carving, housebuilding, calligraphy and pottery, I profoundly
appreciates cake baking, brewing and cooking, and would like to see
all arts and sciences prosper together within Cynnabar.

Even more important, I would like to know what would you all like to
do in future workshops? Is there some kind of workshop missing?

Please think it over, think again, and every time inspiration hits
you, regarding what you would like to do - write it down, and send me
an email, and I will do my best to see if I can make it happen.

And if you want to hold a workshop - oh please, please contact me! :)

What will happen now? I might hear - Well, I am going to get the
rights to post workshops in the schedule, and new workshops will be
posted as soon as I can arrange them. The first thing we have decided
for now, is to make the Corner Brewery workshops a game night for
medieval and medievalish games to encourage people to hang out and
socialize in a friendly and only slightly competitive way... so, if
you know a really good medieval game, please bring it! And if you know
everything about it - please tell us.

Best regards,
Arin
