Hello All!

Just a friendly reminder now that we are just over a month out from Grande
Tourney that we are looking for prizes for the Tourney winners.

It has been a wonderful tradition that, to showcase the varied and
considerable talents and generosity in the Barony, prizes are provided by
the populace for the winners of the various tourneys on the day and we have
had some spectacular prizes in the past.

So this is Our formal request to the group that we all look around and see
what we have or can make that would make a suitable gift to a tourney
victor.

In the past we have had items ranging from armour, to jewelry, books, felted
items, clothing, woodworking, paintings, candle sticks, etc, etc, etc. As
long as it is a quality and tasteful item that We can be proud to give there
are no limits on item type. Often these prizes are given by the winners to
their consorts so they need not be martial in nature. And this year we have
youth tourneys as well...so items for the younger crowd are needed as well.

We have at least 11 Tourneys, and with the youth tourneys included (not sure
how many there will be) I'm going to guess around 15 total tourneys...so
don't be shy! The more we have the better the prizes are!

If you are planning to bring a prizes item (or items) please let Us know so
We have an idea of what we will have available.

And, in a similar vein to prizes...We are also looking for Award
reccomendations for court. So, if you have thoughts about deserving
individuals in the group please let Us know about them!

Thank you all and We are looking forward to seeing you all there!

Tairdelbach and Hannah
