Greetings Artisans of Pentamere, 

An upcoming item of interest to the artisans of Pentamere: the Pentamere 
Regional Craftspersons Faire.  This will be held at Vikings Come Home in the 
Barony of Donnershofen September 17-19, 2010.  This is an opportunity for all 
gentles to display the items they have been working on, demonstrate their craft 
and discuss their progress with interested event attendees.  Space is limited, 
so please sign up ASAP with me (rhonwenmerchalun at att.net) to make sure you have 
table space.  If you need special display items (mannequins, stands, boards, 
etc.) please provide your own but let me know your needs for special space 
(corner, wall, outside, etc.) We hope to highlight the best of our Region's 
artists.  Another great opportunity will be to take part in an A&S "walkthrough" 
at this same event.  If you have ever wondered what it would be like to enter 
something in A&S, this is your chance to sit down with knowledgeable people and 
go through what it takes, how to look at the categories, and criteria.  Bring 
along a project you are working on to "walkthrough" with a past judge or 
participant of A&S. 


Craftspersons Faire Notes:

1. The Craftspersons Faire is intended as more of a show and tell than anything 
else. The beauty is how free form it is. These Faires are specifically designed 
to be as stress and judgement free as possible.
 
2. All that exhibitors need is a pad of paper and a pencil for those wanting to 
leave notes.
 
3. There is to be no judging to criteria at all. However,  the leaving of 
tokens, etc. is encouraged.

4. Performing atisans must arrange a time to perform with me and then the 
heralds will cry the announcement for the performance.

Please encourage all artisans you know to attend and cross-post to all 
appropriate lists.
