Hello all,

Following up on Heidi's mouthwatering post, here's some more affordable (though less scintillating) fabric.  Fashion Fabrics Club has wool on sale.  Suiting (very thin wool, like that used for men's suits) is on sale for 7.95 a yard.

Be wary--some is not 100% wool.  Also, sometimes the fabric from this company is mislabeled.  YMMV, and caveat emptor.  You can, however, return fabric to them for a refund.  Also be aware, if you care about accuracy, that wool crepe is not period.

Coating (heavier wool, like that used for winter coats) is on sale for 11.95.
