I think just a green tabard with the crossed trumpets should be good
enough. BUT, I think to emphasize the point that you are available for
hire carry a sign that reads "Will Hearld for Food"

Subject: [Cynnabar] Linen Scraps
I am currently working on a freelance heralds tabard to wear when I am
out as a herald for hire. It is a more period approach at a generic
tabard than the yellow cross trumpets on green. The design calls for a
lot of small shields (as seen here
<http://dfg-viewer.de/show/?set%5Bimage%5D=5&set%5Bzoom%5D=default&set%5
Bdebug%5D=0&set%5Bdouble%5D=0&set%5Bmets%5D=http%3A%2F%2Fdaten.digitale-
sammlungen.de%2F~db%2Fmets%2Fbsb00001649_mets.xml> ). The plan is to
make it out of linen. So I humbly ask that if you have any scraps of
linen in the primary herald tinctures (red, blue, black, purple, green,
yellow, or white) that you have no need for, I would greatly appreciate
them. The shields should be no bigger than a quarter sheet of paper, so
use that as a gauge. I should be at all the upcoming baronial events
and most (if not all) business meetings.
Thank you all,
Ermenrich
