[Cynnabar] Weekly meeting minutes for 02/20/12 meeting

Event and Demo Reports:

 

Kelsey Museum Trip - Basically awesome behind the scenes look at very cool
items in the collection. Next time one of these is setup everyone who was
there encourages everyone to go if they can.

 

Step Spritely - Went well, much dancing.

 

Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos

 

Armored Fighter Retreat (March 30th thru April 1st) -

Still on target.

 

Terpsichore (April 14th) -

Class schedule is posted on the web site. Everything is moving along nicely.

 

Spring Revel (April 29th) -

Still on target.

 

St. Ceclia at the Tower (May 12th) - 

Coming along nicely. 

 

Celtic Festival (July 14th) - 

A reminder that this does not conflict with Talonvale this year as it is the
weekend after. 

 

Old Business

 

Tithing to the Kingdom - 

The approved $300 to their Highness's travel fund will be presented at Crown
in Kentucky in May.

 

Baronial Ballista plans - 

Was approved last meeting and Uillec has been informed.

 

Fixing loaner leg armor proposal - 

Was approved last meeting and Knight Marshal has been informed.

 

New Business

 

Chatelaine Position - Baroness Giovanna is planning on stepping down as
Baronial Chatelaine at Terpsichore. If anyone one is interested in the
position, please contact Baroness Giovanna, or Their Excellencies Hanna and
Tairdelbach or your friendly neighborhood Seneschal Finn.

 

New Choir Heraldic Accoutrements - New budget request item (1st discussion).
HE Hanna is requesting $100 to spend on materials to make up to 20 pieces of
new Cynnabar accoutrements for the choir (and possibly other groups). They
are still designing the items, but the budget for the materials should be
accurate. No one at the meeting had any concerns or objections to this
request. It will be discussed again at the next meeting (2nd discussion).

 

Announcements:

 

Come Join the Choir! - See Lady Jadzia if you are interested in signing with
the choir. You do not have to be able to read music currently, but you do
need to be willing to learn.

 

Master Midair has no pie.
