I posted about this a couple of weeks ago. Since that time I received
a very kind offer from the head of the Rare Book Room of the Hatcher
Library, Dr. Pablo Alvarez. He is willing to give us a personal tour
of the exhibit if we are interested. If it is a date he cannot manage,
he can have someone else give the tour. Its a very nice offer. Please
write and tell me if you are interested and what days/evenings and
times would work best. I am thinking either a Tuesday or Friday evening.

Sacred Hands: An exhibit of manuscripts with texts of the three
Abrahamic faiths

This exhibit is in the Audubon Room, Library Gallery (Room 100,
Hatcher Graduate Library). We are very pleased to have the opportunity
to display treasures never shown in a physical exhibit before, such as
a gathering of parchment leaves containing works by the Coptic writer
Shenoute of Atripe (348-465) as well as unique examples of Islamic
manuscripts.
The visitor will be also rewarded with an audio feature consisting of
medieval music and the recording of four readings from some of the
manuscripts on display.
