Greetings!

The kiln has been open and unloaded! The tower tokens look great, and
I have the strings for them too.

Aelfric - your pottery came through fine!
Godaeth - so did yours!
Lorna - your tea pot went through great, the handle is on, so the mend
worked, all your other things are fine too, except for the fox that
had the tail break off - this we can fix with glue, and you can always
paint and lacquer it, we just cant fire it in the kiln for a glazing
if we glue it first.

Next thing is to fire a glaze - the pottery is now bisque ware - hard,
but porous, so water poured into it will be sucked up and diffuse
through the goods. We have two glazes(black and clear) but we will get
more, if you have a particular color in mind, please check the Roven
ceramics webpage, they have a store on Dino drive off Jackson. The
glazes are not expensive and a small jar can go far. We will be firing
glaze at cone 05 or 06, so if you are interested in buying your own
glaze, let us know, and we will tell you what cone to get.

And Jerry - you still have pottery from last year. If you want to
have it glazed, let us know and come by at a glazing workshop.

YIS,
Arina de Traentorp
