Dear Musicians,

Are you interested in playing in the band at Terpsichore? All you need to
play in the band is an instrument (does not need to be period!), some
experience reading from modern sheet music, and willingness to spend some
time practicing! It's OK if you're a little bit rusty or if you've never
played in a dance band before -- if you come to the practices you will get
everything you need.

One set of the ball will include just those people who come to all (or at
least most) of the practices. We'll spend a lot of our time at the
practices focusing on pieces for that set and getting them in really good
shape.

Two of the sets will be more of an open band. We'll also review that
material in practices but not spend as much time on it. So, it's still
valuable to come to practices even if you can only attend a couple, and you
will still have an opportunity to play at Terpsichore!

All the practices will be at my house, 1430 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor,
MI. The dates are:

Sun, Feb 17, 4-6pm
Sun, Feb 24, 4-6pm
Sun, Mar 3, 4-6pm
Sun, Mar 10, 4-6pm
Sun, Mar 17, 4-6pm
Sun, Mar 24, 4-6pm
Sun, Mar 31 -- NO PRACTICE -- EASTER

PRE-REVEL/DRESS REHEARSAL: Friday, April 5, 2013 (at St. Paul's)
TERPSICHORE AT THE TOWER: Saturday, April 6, 2013 (at St. Paul's)

I'll have the list of dances soon (within the next week) and get music out
to people so you can start practicing ahead of time.

Please let me know if you plan on attending practices, and forward to
anybody else you think might be interested in playing at Terpsichore!

Thanks,

Aaron Drummond
