*Event and Demo Reports*

No reports

*Words from Their Excellencies Ermenrich and Kasha of Cynnabar:*

Volunteer for shifts at Crown.

Please write award recommendations in advance of events.  The Crown will be
at many events near Cynnabar this summer.  We will be at Baron Wars, and
you can see the rest of our travels on the Calendar on the website.

*Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos*

Spring Crown Tournament (May 23rd and 24th, 2015) –

Judge’s Lunch will take 120 ½ price tickets from the Lunch Tavern rather
than be fed separately.

Fabric for New tablecloths is ordered.  The ad is up for Feast on Sunday
evening. It was published in the Midrealm Gazette.  64 seats. Ilsa says,
“The cheese is made, the meats are purchased."

Grey reports the Archery Champions Activities have 6 Champions from various
groups signed up.

A& S:  Brewing and Vinting will be judged at Claire’s clubhouse.

Arina says the Barony should do a “gift” activity for St Paul’s, the church
we use for Terpsichore, and whose kitchen we are renting for Crown
prep.  Aelfric
will look for ideas that would benefit the church (he is a member there) if
we ask him.  It has been some years since the Barony did a Yard Clean-up
for them.

Parking, Lunch Tavern, end of Saturday reset and Sunday tear down all have
1 or 2 spots open depending on the times.

The last Crown Staff Meeting will be in this room at 6 pm before the Monday
Meeting 5/18.

*Saline Celtic Festival (July 11, 2015) - *$75

No News, but the Music acts that will perform are reportedly very good.  Those
who come to set up Friday night often gather to listen to music after the
work is done (in the beer tent!)

*Grand Day of Tournaments (Saturday November 7th, 2015) – *

Planning Meetings will start after Crown, in June.  Currently working on
Lunch Tavern Budget.

*Old Business*

*New Exchequer Candidate -* *2nd* *of 3 meetings* to approve Ilsa/ Heidi as
new Exchequer.

Ermenrich: Read the Exchequer book if you have not.

Tristan is available to consult via e-mail.

Our Bank is 5th/3rd, the Stadium Branch.  Like the PO Box, this is across
from where Heidi works, making it easy for her to stop in.  (Her candidacy
just keeps looking more and more appealing. KAY)

*Add the PO Box as a line item to the Financial Policy*, just like our
online Domain Names, and continue payment until further notice.  *3rd* *of
3 Meetings.  *

*Refill the Student Account to a certain level.* *3rd of 3 meetings.*   Was
Aaron able to ask Hattie to get a statement printout?  Did an amount get
set? *No News. Kay will ask  Yes, let’s keep a balance.  *Heidi says she
would determine how often to check and refill depending on how much money
there is held in the account.

NONE Presented.

*Other Group Discussion*

Ermenrich proposed we not try to have a meeting on the 4th Monday in May
because it is Memorial Day. It is also the day after Crown/ Kingdom A & S.
The entire Barony may need a day off.

That means we need to have Officer Reports next week. Kay will contact the
officers via email and offer to deliver reports to the meeting if they want
to send it to her electronically. Just a couple of sentences will do.

*Status check on Approved Budget Items:*

*Reimburse Ben the $40 he gave Hattie for replenishing the SOAS Student
Account*.  Has this happened?  Unknown.  Kay will check.

*List upgrades* – Stained! And there are pictures of the work on Facebook.

*Fabric for making new fighter tabards* –Serged!  Handed out in pairs for
finishing

*Youth box* – Victoria has been out of touch.  Best way to strip the old
finish was discussed, before redecorating it.

*New biz cards* – $50 Daye

*Baronial Ballista *– Team is discussion Bolt Design. Still need a Crew to
get trained.

*Budget item: Fabric/materials for making new Baronial floor covering *($95
budget) Ms. Giovanna

*Budget item: Fabric and materials Shadowed Stars Baronial Gift ($200
budget) – *Baron Ermenrich

100 patches were cheaper than 75, so that was the number ordered.  After
patches arrive fabric will be matched to the blue thread.  Extra patches
will be an additional gift.

*Budget item: Archery supplies, general refreshing of used items ($200
budget) – *Forester Grey

Foam for targets, Wheels for the moving target are all purchased.  May have
gone over the amount a bit.  Kay and others urged him to do a little fund
raising rather than pay the costs himself.

*Meeting Planning:*  $00.00. Any further discussion on or Any Suggestions
for new meeting places to investigate?   No Ideas.

*Reprint Social Cards: $50 *Daye

*Announcements*

Herald’s night will be at SImcha’s for the last time in June.  The cats are
staying elsewhere if that is an issue for attendees.  In July the meeting
moves to Hannah and Art’s home.
