*Workshop Topics:*  Tonight was: *How to Run Gate by THL Aelfric and
Mistress Giovanna.*

·      Please join us at 6:30 for an interesting topic before each meeting.

·      Please tell Baroness Hannah Schreiber at dawnlsinclair at gmail.com if
you would like to present a workshop.  All topics are of interest.

*May 16 - SCA Bardic Basics with His Excellency Ermenrich*  Prepare
yourself for the Siege of Talonval's Bardic fun! Learn some beginning SCA
Bardic style songs to sing around the campfire.

*May 23 - Enhancing your Pennsic Encampment by Gregor and Genoveva  *Enhance
your personal Pennsic encampment in appearance & quality of life. Learn how
to make projects from wood with basic tools. Handouts will be available for
each.

*Activity, Event & Demo Reports *

Created to occupy the moments while people were gathering and greeting each
other, this topic will in future be moved to the end of the meeting, *because
it is not financial**. Reports on complete events will go to Approved
Budget Items.*

*St. Cecilia at the Tower (Sat April 30- Sun May 1, 2016)* After Event
Report from Mistress Jadwiga  & Master Aaron

·         66 people attended.  Site fee was Free Will Donation.  Collected
$170.  Average contribution was $7.74

·         New feature was The Salon at mid day, instead of a Master Class.
It was very well received.  Thanks to Baron Ermenrich and Baroness Kasha
for hosting it.

·         The Concert went well.  Special Thanks to Aelfric and Gregoire
for cleaning up site during the concert.

·         The Big Sing was a success (participants received music to learn
in advance.)  A good time was had by all.

·         The Sunday Advanced classes successful.

·         Plan for Next Year:  Set a date that is before graduation weekend.

*Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos *

*50 Year Celebration (June 17- June 2016)* Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds

·         May 16 the option to use Pay Pal for your registration ends!

*Celtic Festival (Saturday July 9, 2016)* Saline Michigan. Baron
Tairdelbach. Budget >$100 Sports drinks, snacks.

·         All planning is underway. Emails will appear with news.

*Pennsic War (July 29-Aug 14, 2016)*

·         June 13th will be Cynnabar Pennsic Camp workshop with Sir Straum
and Lady Tigwyn....for any that missed the Sunday May 1 workshop.

*Grand Day of Tournaments 2016 (Sat Nov 5, 2016)* Liberty School, Ann Arbor
Saline Road, Saline, MI. Ms. Giovanna Steward. Budget $1735. Breakeven 174.

·         New Department Heads: Aelfric will be Gate Coordinator.
Tairdelbach is organizing Merchants.  Jadwiga will coordinate Music.

·         A large amount of List Field parts will be borrowed from Roaring
Wastes to maximize List space.

*Pentemere 12th Night Jan 7, 2017. THL Ceara *Hidden Springs Church,
Howell *Budget
$2700* Breakeven: 170(approx)

·          Site News:  Hidden Springs Church is getting busier and may not
be willing to commit to a date in January.

·         Past events at this site have been Very Generous.  Last year they
paid 50% of the total Gate.  PLAN: off them $4 per person attending with a
$500 cap. If the Church will not agree/ commit by June 1 Ceara will seek
another site.

*Old Business*

*New Cynnabar Pursuivant Candidate*:  Possible Candidate is investigating
the position

*Search for Minster of Youth Office* –

*New Baronial Award Tokens* Ermenrich $200 *3rd of 3 Meetings*

·         Consensus is Order the Tokens.

·         There was a suggestion to ask THL Kathrine if she is able to make
more would she sell them to current holders of the Award.

*Status check on Approved Budget Items:  *

*Royal Travel Fund Donation*  Ermenrich *REVISED 4/25/16 $500 *This may be
arranged between Cynnabar and Kingdom Exchequers.

*Reimburse Birke $23.85* for snacks provided to Rapier lists at Grand Day
of Tournaments 2015.

*Gift for Eastern Michigan Costume Shop, as thanks for access.*  *Lord
Uillec* *Budget $200*

·         Check Issued for Uillec to shop for fabric 5/9/16.

*Baronial Trailer* Budget $3500-$3950       Black, 5’x12’x6’ single axle
covered, lights, hitch kit.

·         *Plywood lining for the body.  *

·         *Sir Dag is reported to be working on designs for Decals for the
outside.*

o   *This may need to be budgeted separately, depending on how far the
current funding will go.*

·         *Registration & Insurance:*  DONE

*Stickers with the Baronial Populace Badge* (and maybe name?) $60-100 Kay

·         It is the season to put stickers on our stuff so it returns to
Cynnabar.

·         I asked Gavriil if he can get me a Vector image of the art.

“Ranthulfr Asplunder has been exiled from the Realm of the Middle Kingdom
by TRM Cameron and Amalie and may not engage in active participation within
the Midrealm. This sanction does not apply to anyone else. His wife may
participate as she sees fit.”

*From Godaeth, Cynnabar Archery Marshall*:

“We had approximately 10 people at archery practice yesterday and 5
shooting Royal Rounds, with Lady Aeffe marshalling; and additionally,  we
will have a Combat Archery "moot" this Wednesday at Fighter Fixit, for all
interested, "barring unforeseen circumstances."
