Pre-Meeting Workshop - Epics from Kievan Rus with Lady Morwen

Most extant manuscripts from Kievan Rus (9th to 12th century) are either  
religious or legal texts, and few of those survive. However, in The Lay of  
Igor’s Campaign and the various bylini, we can glimpse a world of courtly  
poetry that otherwise would have vanished. Join Lady Morwen as she  
discusses her findings on this folk epic.

Workshops are held in the same location as the Baronial Business meetings  
from 6:30 pm until approx 7:25 pm about an hour before the meeting begins.
