*Monday, Feb. 27:* *Entering an SCA Arts and Sciences competition *The Arts
and Sciences tournament season is upon us!  Meisterinne Genoveva von Lubeck
unlocks the mysteries of entering your creations in a competition.

·         No volunteers yet but the need was discussed.

*Grand Day of Tournaments- Nov 4, 2017 Site is reserved. Funding *Deposit
should go on the Agenda in January.  Pay in March?

·         Proposals from Stewards are due in March.

·       We set a bid date of March 13, 2017. If we cannot get everyone ON
this date, it is the deadline.

·         It would be good to have all proposals offered at one time.

·         We hope this will encourage more bids, reduce the sense that
first bid will be chosen.

·         Please bring copies to Meeting, and send e-copy to Kay.

*Herald’s Office Eadraed $40 for Supplies 3rd of 3 meetings*

            Binders to store armorial publications, Dry Erase Boards to
draw armorials for meetings, training and consultations.

*Terpsichore Printing:  Gavriil  $190 *for Dance Books, Class Schedules,
Misc signs and other items.* 2nd of 3 meetings*

NO OBJECTIONS.

            The original Budget for the event had $150 for printing. The
$40 adjustment is to print some extra Book copies, plus signage.  Any extra
after printing will be reserved for emergencies associated with this event.

*Kingdom 12th Night Reports missing:  *Ilse, Baronial Exchequer, reports
that Kingdom Exchequer did not have the NMR report or remittance or the
event report and profit share remittance from the Kingdom 12th Night held
on January 7th in the barony. KExch also reported some or all 2016 reports
were not in her possession. Ilse is now checking and sending the missing
documents.  With the assistance of Baroness Kasha all 2016 Stewards have
been asked to also check and forward their Reports and saved waiver forms
so a complete package can go to Kingdom.

We expect a report on 2/27 that the issue has been or soon will be resolved.

Thanks to everyone who had worked on getting this corrected or clarified.

*Officer vacancies to be filled:*

1.      Chatelaine – Possible Applicant is Eidy.

2.      Minister of Youth – Ze’ev Ben Ami (Adi Peshkess) has expressed
interest on FB.

3.      Office of Group Marshal for Archery –

4.      Deputy Seneschal (Drop Dead) –A candidate has inquired.  Seneschal
post will open up in Spring or Summer 2017.

*New Business* (includes items potentially requiring budget outlays)

*Contribution to Kingdom Baronial Retreat  $50/ one meeting.  APPROVED*

Their Excellencies report that when the Midrealm Baronage learned one Baron
was planning to fund the expenses of the Retreat in Fort Wayne on February
25th they all wanted to chip in.  The expenses are the cost of the meeting
room and some food for a break in the meeting. All other expenses will be
borne by the attending Barons ad Baronesses.

The Meeting agreed to fund this to the traditional one-meeting-maximum,
$50.00.  A-Group-to-Group Transfer Form will need go with the check, made
out to SCA Ohio.

*Exchequer Office Supplies. $50.00-$75.00  Lady Ilse 1stof 3 meetings*

Needs:  New water proof file boxes, file folders, Hanging File folders. No
objections were raised.  Kay suggests a larger dollar amount, as o shopping
has been done yet.

*Status check on approved budget items    *

*12th Night *Lady Ceara are all receipts in?     Helva has some profits
from Lunch Tavern to hand in. Ceara believes it is about $200.  No News

            LATE NEWS- Sunday we learned the NMR and Kingdom profit share
checks were not yet in. See Old Business, above.

*Registering the Baronial Awards and Order Names and Badges. *Mistress
Ursula, Herald. $100 ($36 disbursed 11/21) ($32 spent 2/13, disbursed

*Restock Cards,* *Brochures-** Chatelaine Box. *$75 Lady Daye.*  Will
advise when done.*

*Announcements** & Group Discussion*

Derian has been brewing for *Gulf Wars Beer Project*.  Please contact him
if you want to help Bottle.  Or if you want to discuss bottling what you
have brewed.

*The Pennsic Pay project* is underway.  Moneyers across the Kingdom are
creating coins for TRH William & Isolde to offer as payment for troops and
companies at War.  The obverse of all coins will be the same, a design for
this Crown.  The Reverse will be the name of the project and Your Name as
Moneyer if you come to carve your own die and strike coins!  Plan is to
strike 10,000 coins, although Derian reports the moneyers have laid in
25,000 blanks to be prepared if they have to strike more coins in case of
inflation.

Derian will be holding Open Workshop days to get this done.  Contact him
for more info.

Can Baron Cassius Maximus *tow the Cynnabar trailer to Gulf Wars* to move
the beer, equipment and armor of the Cynnabar contingent traveling there
together? What issues does this present? Can the Lining of the Trailer be
finished BEFORE this trip?

            RESULTS of INSURANCE RESEARCH.  The trailer is insured for 3rd
party liability.  If it hurts someone the SCA cannot be sued.  Baron Max
carries personal insurance that covers damage to the trailer and to his van
in case of an accident.  No one carried insurance on the personal property
people would put n the trailer.  Users should be aware they travel at their
own risk and at their own expense.  The Barony of Cynnabar is not offering
to cover any expense or liability for hauling items in our trailer.

            Can The LINING OF THE TRAILER be finished BEFORE this trip? No
news as of Sunday.

*Future New Business.*  Let’s discuss a *Policy for the use of the Baronial
Trailer*. We could not confirm that Baronial Financial Policies covered the
use of major equipment. We think the policy will Over-ride any precedent
set by a onetime use of the trailer for the Gulf War trip.

*Baron and Baroness:*  The A&S season is coming fast.  Pentemere A&S is
March 11 in Howell MI at  Heart of the Shepherd Lutheran Church,  228 N
Burkhart Rd.  There is still time to write up a project you have
completed..Please Judge if you can.

There will be performances at Terpsichore, and at St Cecelia.  Please come.

The Baron and Baroness are separately attending Gulf Wars and Pentemere A&S.
They plan to both be at Coronation, Crown and Siege of Talonvale (5/15-16).
Please join them.

*NOTE One more Meeting will be in the Boulevard Room, next to our usual
spot.  Listen for familiar voices.*
