[Cynnabar] Fwd: Searching for a new Meeting site.

This discussion is for a possible move *at the start of May*. I want to
make an announcement of the change in mid April, or whenever I think we
have reached a consensus. I would not book a major change so close. We
need to discuss, work out kinks, figure out who's oxen might be gored...

I thought allowing 4-6 weeks and 3-5 meetings for discussion was a nice
amount of time to hear from people. And having email in the mix means we
may hear from those who do not come to meetings now but may if we move.

*I should have said May in the first message. * But as someone who puts
returning the books on my calendar the minute I check them out, I assume
anything important has a month of lead time. It does make me inflexible
sometimes...

Thanks,
Kay

I don't see a barrier to the room. I was speaking directly to the owner.
She mentioned that other groups use the space for meetings. I explained we
were planning on 3 Mondays a month.

There is a long tradition of service and fraternal organizations meeting in
restaurants. Lions Clubs, Optomists, Rotary... in fact Cynnabar did a
short series of talks on historical topics for the Chelsea Rotary Club 20
years ago. We would be following in this path.

I am proposing we try this for our next meeting, and see if it enables more
or different people to attend. Perhaps this will revitalize our
decision-making process.

What other questions should we All talk about?

Thanks,
Kay
