My more sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made Grand Day of
Tournaments such a success! Every single person who attended, from our
newcomers to our most titled nobles, contributed in some way to bring us
all together to celebrate the art of combat.

I want to give particular thanks to my amazing army of staff, who are a
sight to behold. Thank you to my first deputy, Lord Johannes Robbertszoon,
and my second deputy, Baroness Hannah Schreiber. You were always happy to
take on additional tasks and be my second eyes and ears. And a special
thank you to Forester Godhit of Cynnabar, who was in many ways my mentor
for this event.

Thank you to my marshals who organized the day’s activities: For armored
combat: Lord Gregor Reinhardt von Holstein. For rapier combat, Lord William
of Cynnabar. For cut & thrust, Master Derian le Breto. For thrown weapons,
Forester Grey Oddson. And for our wonderful list mistresses, Mistress
Claire FitzWilliam and Mistress Mesliant Saint-Clair.

A special thank-you to my A&S tournament coordinator, Forester Aeffe
Torsdottir, who worked with me to come up with a brand new A&S format to
encourage our artisans to present their works in the company of their peers.

To my department heads who worked so tirelessly in the background. For
setup/teardown and “constable” work, Forester Godhit. For the gate, THL
Ooyama Tarou Hideyasu, better known as AElfric. For the amazing lunch
tavern, Lady Ilse Strauss. For our hospitality and information table, Lord
Jack Black and Lady Albina Gerardi. For our parking coordinator, Lord
Johannes Robbertszoon. For vigil coordinator and the event programs,
Baroness Hannah Schreiber. For our very popular gambling pit, Sir Straum
Von Bairzog, Lady Bella Roisin OCoilleain, and House Darkyard. For our
heraldic coordinator, Lord Eadward Alforde of York). For fighter
hospitality, Baroness Simone Marie Genevieve Formneau. For our merchant
coordinator, Baron Tairdelbach ua Conaill. For our crash space coordinator
and youth coordinator, THL Ceara inghean Mhuirghease. And for royally
liaisons, Lady Daeg "Daye" ingen Aeda and Baroness Nezhka Kiriena Petrova.

Three individuals went above and beyond to help out: Sir Adler von Metz,
who transported the lists. Lady Kata Aragunnrsdottir who helped us get
extra list and helped with setup/teardown. And Master Derian le Breton, who
picked up and transported the extra list. You rock!

A special thank you to Their Excellencies of Cynnabar, Baron Ermenrich and
Baroness Kasha, for coordinating all of our wonderful prizes!

And to Their Majesties, King Cellach and Queen Vukasin; Her Highness,
Princess Katherine; and His Excellency, Sir Kith von Atzinger, thank You
for gracing our event with Your presence. It’s always a delight to host You.

Thank you all for making my first event stewardship experience such a
pleasant one!

Genoveva
