Hello, Cynnabar.

We're emailing to make sure everyone knows about the regional rapier and
armored fighter practice coming up in Talonval next Thursday (January 31).
We want to encourage as many people as possible to come.

Moving forward, the Shire of Talonval will be hosting this event on the
last Thursday of each month. This is the Thursday that Cynnabar does NOT
hold our regular business meeting/practice. We expect to attend regularly
and hope that the majority of you will also be there. This is a great
chance to build community within the region and strengthen our friendships
with our neighbors on all sides.

The practices will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center, 1107
Adrian Street, in Jackson, MI (
https://www.cityofjackson.org/531/Martin-Luther-King-Jr-Center). They are
scheduled from 6:30-9:30 pm, but it sounds as though most Cynnabar members
plan to arrive between 7:00 and 7:30 pm. (The site is about 42 minutes away
from the center of Ann Arbor, via I-94 West.)

Provided enough people attend, we plan to host tournaments for rapier and
armored fighters that evening.

For non-fighters (and fighters taking a break!), THL Ceara will be have
medieval and Renaissance games to play. We're also working on scheduling
1-2 other activities for the evening, so if you're interested in teaching a
class, helping others work on a craft, or running anything else, let us
know. :)

Finally, this is a regional event, so please spread the word to your
friends in the area. Talonval would also love it if you let them know you
were coming at their Facebook event page (
https://www.facebook.com/events/367579350740739/).

I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Kasha and Ermenrich,
Baroness nad Baron of Cynnabar
