[Cynnabar] Meeting minutes 7 October 2021

Baronial Business meeting Thursday 7 October 2021  - Hybrid meeting, in
person and on zoom  Started 8:30pm



*Old Business *

We NEED a new Exchequer.  Mistress Jadwiga is stepping down at the end of
October. She is willing to train her replacement, but this is a required
office for the Barony.  Please contact Mistress Jadwiga (Monique Rio),
Their Excellencies Malachy and Olafr, or Master Nezkha if you have
questions or interest.





*New Business *



*Fall Revel* proposal was reviewed, slightly amended, and accepted.  Pending
confirmation of pavilion reservation (in process as of 10/8)  Fall Revel
will be held Sunday, October 24th from noon to 4pm at Island Park (1420
Island Drive, Ann Arbor MI 48105).  It will be Bring Your Own Food and
Drink, as shared food and beverages are not yet allowed by the SCA.  Park
grills will be available (charcoal is needed), and HE Olafr will be
bringing his camp stove.



*Wassail*  The Barons are wondering if there is interest in having a BYO
food and beverage Wassail (unless rules change).  If you are interested in
attending, please let them or myself know. Current proposal for location is
to use the same location as meetings/fight practices, since the cost would
be lower.  Note that it is a dry site.  Please reply to Their Excellencies
with questions or comments.



*New SCA CovidSafe policy* has been published on the SCA and MidRealm
websites, and FaceBook pages, as well as the Barony page.  Policy
implementation  will begin 13 October 2021, and requires that at *every*
“event”  (meeting, practice, event),  a warranted officer/ marshal  checks
in every attendee in by reviewing a government issued ID plus one of the
following:   1.  Proof of being fully vaccinated in the form of a
government issued card (original or photograph) or an electronic record  OR
2.  Proof of a negative Covid test issued by a licensed medical provider in
paper or electronic format such that the event staff can verify its
authenticity.  Letterhead or an email address shall constitute sufficient
proof.



Fully vaccinated means 2 weeks after the second dose of Pfizer, AstraZeneca
or Moderna,  or 2 weeks after a single dose (Johnson & Johnson Janssen)
vaccine.



Post event, the attestation of the warranted official reviewing the
information above will be forwarded to the MK Kingdom Seneschal.



*Announcements:*

·         There will be NO fight practice or meeting  Dec 23rd or Dec 30,
2021 due to Holidays.

·         Mistress Helewyse has been elevated to Kingdom Seneschal  (took
place at Coronation)

·         Meetings will be the 2nd Thursday of each month going forward.



*Next Meeting November 11th, 2021  will be a hybrid meeting to cassess
interest in this format. *
