[Cynnabar] Meeting minutes for 7 April 2022

Cynnabar Baronial Meeting   7 April 2022  in person, ~14 in attendance
8:30pm

*Announcements:*

·         All Covid restrictions are cancelled as of 6 April.

*New Business**: *

1.       Saline Celtic Fest – HE Tairdelbach.  Dates are July 9-10, 2022.

2.       Their Royal Majesties need award tokens.   After discussion, it
was agreed to select a date and set up an A&S craft night to make some as a
Baronial A&S activity. More to come, please talk to Ulfren with ideas.

*Officer reports:*

*Exchequer:*   (Diamante):  classes continue. Waiting for Kingdom to
approve signature card change with bank.

ü  Round 1 of 3 review and approval of Baronial financial policy and the
2022-2023 budget.

*Chatelaine:*   (Ceara)  I am planning on coming to the practice that is
outside next week if anyone one would like to talk with me in person or
needs anything on the chatelaine side. We have new people trickling in! I
have been reaching out to them about what we do, when we do, and how they
can do to!  I have personally invited them to spring revel.  I would
appreciate at least a 1 week notice if people need loner garb for Spring
Revel!

*Armored*:   (Jorun):  Practices and tournaments are taking place.  Next
week (April 14) the church is not available, so we’ll be at Hickory Woods
Park.

*Rapier*:  (Throckmorton):   few rapier fighters, but that will change as
thing improve. No rapier next week, I will not be available.

*Arts & Sciences*:  (Ulfrun):  Report done, it’s a lot easier than it was
at first. I will be staying on until Fall.  Kingdom Tournament of Arts is
April 30th ,  and May 28th is Queen’s prize tournament, and Kingdom A&S at
Crown Tournament.

*Herald:*  (Aesa):   nothing new to report.

*Social Media:*  (Valka):   Report to kingdom completed.

*Chronicler: *   (Gabriella)   Please forward any content for next
Citadel  (Spring
Revel, etc.).

*Webminster**: * no report

* Archery**: * there has been an offer of space for a casual practice;
working with marshal to set up so is easy to convert to official practice
if/when.  More to come once the details are ironed out.

*Their Excellencies:*

Ø  HE Malachy has reviewed the wifi situation at the church and is
investigating cost and company for additional access points. (so, progress,
yay!) .

Ø  There will be a Sewing Day April 28th to finish more Baronial tabards –
please bring sewing machines, sergers, and black, red, and white thread.

Ø  Baronial progress will be posted on the website soon – going to
Cleftlands Investiture.

Ø  Fighter “retreat” will be a BBQ this year at Our house, Saturday April 16
th starting at noon.  If you did not receive an email invitation, and would
like to attend, please contact one of us.

*The next business meeting*

Ø  is Thursday April 21 at 7pm – virtual meeting, for round 2 of 3 of
Baronial Financial policy and 2022-2023 budget discussion and approval.

Ø  The meeting after that will be April 28th, 8:30pm in person, the 3rd
meeting to discuss and approve Financial Policy and 2022-2023 budget.

Ø  The meeting after that will be May 12th, at 8:30pm in person
