[Cynnabar] Meeting Minutes 13 January 2022

Cynnabar Baronial Meeting   13 January 3033  via zoom    7:30pm,   17 in
attendance

*Officer reports:*

*Exchequer:*   (Diamante)  Reporting is going well.  Still working on
finishing the classes (there are a LOT).  Deputy MR Exchequer has
acknowledged the changeover, so we can work on the bank updates.

*Chatelaine:*   (Ceara)  Welcome to newcomers interested in practice and
other activities.  They attended  12th night, and this meeting.

*Armored*:   *(*Jorun)  Looking for recommendations regarding practices,
since Covid is still increasing in Michigan. Discussion – agreed to cancel
in-person practices until February meeting, we’ll see where the numbers are
at that point.

*Rapier*:  (Throckmorton)  Charles from about 2 years ago has moved back ad
is interested in re-joining practices.

*Arts & Sciences*:  (Ulfrun) New Deputy  _____  is interested in hosting
zoom crafting hangout times. Mistress Fiona won the largess tournament at 12
th Night with several sets of beautiful mittens (she considers herself
Cynnabarian).

*Herald:*  (Aesa)  Planned project is a database of heraldry resources –
digital, and hardcopy (from those willing to lend).  HE Ermenerich will be
deputizing for in-person events while Aesa is in Germany for University.

*Social Media:*  (Beth)  Lady Valka (Jenny) was voted in as new SMO.  Beth
will be stepping down at the end of January.

*Chronicler: *   (Gabriela ) – no report

*Archery**: * no report

*Their Excellencies:*

Ø  Pennsic pre-registration is open.

Ø  Working with Our Cousins of Nortwoods, the KW Baronial Armored and
Rapier Championships have moved to Sunday at Pennsic.

Ø  Hot Chocolate Challenge at 12th Night went very well, with approaches
varying from HE Zabeda’s researched spicy recipe, HE Olafr’s  “this is my
Grandma’s cherished recipe”, to TE Roaring Waste’s  “we picked this up on
the way in”.  Fun was had by all.

Ø  CONGRATULATIONS to Mistress Hannah on her elevation to Pelican!

Ø  Congratulations to Sir Gregoire on taking a new squire, HE Collette!

Ø  Congratulations to Mistress Hannah on taking Lady Ulfren as her
apprentice!



*New Business**: * We need someone willing to plan and host Spring Revel, a
traditionally outdoor event.  Please contact Nezkha and TE Malachy and
Olafr’ if you are interested.
