[Cynnabar] Practice 7/14/22

[Marshal - Armored Combat Cynnabar via Barony]

Thursday, 7/14 practice in Milan at People's Presbyterian is on rain or
shine or heat at 7pm. We'll be inside if weather threatens our outdoor
time. We met a lot of people this past Saturday and talked up our group so
we need to be here to greet them if they show up. If you see a new face,
introduce yourself!

We already have a decent amount of fighters in armor--8 coming, 1 maybe, so
it should be a decent evening. I've heard some murmuring about practicing
with long weapons more so if you have gauntlets and long weapons, bring
them with you.

I'm not yet sure how practice during Pennsic will go yet, but I'll be out
of town for next week 7/21, 8/4, & 8/11 so if folks are staying home and
want to hold practice during Pennsic, please let me know.

I think we should schedule the monthly practice tourney for next week, so
would the winner of June's tourney message or email me, please?

If you're going to Pennsic and fighting, please check your waiver status
and your auth cards NOW. I'm already working to iron out some issues for
other folks. I can help, but I'd prefer to do that before the last few days
before Pennsic.

After Pennsic, there's a ToC at Harvest Days on 9/10 in Xenia, OH and the
next weekend is Vikings Come Home (at a new site with cabins!) on 9/16-18.

Thanks everyone who came out to fight this past Saturday at the Celtic Fest
demo. I know it's a long day, but we got to see old friends, make new
friends, and do some fun demo fights.
