Unto the Populace of the most esteemed Barony of Cynnabar, compliments and
greetings!

It is my honor to convey to you my most heartfelt gratitude for your
support of this year’s Terpsichore at the Tower, its twenty-sixth return.
And WHAT an occasion it was.

Quite literally gentles arrived from all corners of the Kingdom, and from
*out* of Kingdom. They were welcomed, fed, facilitated in learning and
performing Arts, diverted, entertained, presented sumptuous desserts, and
given the opportunity to dance for three hours to live music – because of
YOUR generosity. Your sacrifices of time, talent, and treasure over the
years brings us to the happy moment when, mostly, Life as we knew it
pre-pandemic, may resume. A happy “Renaissance” to you all!

I will now also take a moment to mention those of our Baronial community
who supported the event through personal involvement. Depending on their
role, they may themselves have thanks to convey. And if by chance I have
forgotten anyone ... PLEASE contact me immediately so I may make amends in
public!

Sir Midair and Mistress Alina, Master of Ceremonies and Dance
Mistress/Class Coordinator – the vision was and is, yours. Thank you for
establishing a Kingdom tradition that we all so very much enjoy.

Mistress Jadwiga and Master Aaron, band and music directors – for creating
a sub-tradition to Terpsichore of live Period music and occasion for
musician networking.

Master Ooyama, our site liaison and also, Head of Gate. A Peer so
softspoken and gentle (in all meanings of the word), you won’t even notice
that he’s pushing the dust mop at the end of the day.

The Honorable Lady Magdalena Vogelsang, C.E. (as of 4/15 AS LVII), for
coordinating the Dessert Revel and its piece de resistance this year, a
hurdy-gurdy cake. [NOTE! If there are pictures, please post!]

Lady Ilse Strauss and her magnificent Lunch Tavern and her skilled Tavern
hands (which included Peers and Coronets). A great event no less than a
grand army must see to its victuals. Thank you all!

I include here Mistress Jadwiga who organized the pizza dinner for those
wishing to remain on-site at the dinner break. Yay, pizza!

And all Officers of the Barony who were just “doing their job”: The
Honorable Lady Daye, our Chatelaine; our Seneschal Mistress Giovanna with
her Key (to unlock all administrative locks); our Exchequer Lady Diamante
and Deputy The Honorable Lady Beth of Cynnabar, C.D.H. (as of 4/15 AS
LVII), for minding the books and writing the checks; our Court Herald Baron
Ermenrich, whose voice ringing out over the assembled attendees brought
back a welcome sense of “status quo ante”; and last – only because most
notable and Noble -- our Barons Malachy and Olafr – who not only call the
militia to muster in times of need, but also convene us to glad pursuits
and joyful fellowship.

I would encourage all in “staff” positions to post your own stories
praising those who acted conspicuously! For my part, to end … the most
recent member of the Order of Chivalry, who served most humbly and
cheerfully to the end of the day (10:30pm). For Sir Charles: huzzah!

YIS,

Eliza, Terpsichore XXVI Steward
