Dearest Barony,
I want to thank everyone for helping to host 12th Night in Pentamere. I am
continually impressed by the tireless efforts of the volunteers from our
group. So many volunteers gave time and talent — from those that sat at the
gate or shared their knowledge in a class room – to those who served feast,
and swept the floor before we left. Thank you to everyone who put their
time and effort into putting on a wonderful event.
I want to thank the staff leads for each area.
Baroness Simone (Renee Metzner) who was our Royalty Liason who made sure
that Our Baronial Excellencies had their needs met as well as the other
Landed Baronage in attendance were well cared for. We loved that she came
with her own porters! (William and Louis!)
Lady Diamante, our exchequer managed gate and the ins and outs of yet
another pre-reg system. Thanks for helping us through that…and for your
continued work which will complete the transactions for the event!
Baron Tairdelbach managed merchants and made sure that they had the space
and things they needed to sell their wares so that the populace had things
to peruse and purchase.
TH Lady Ulfrun for organizing classes and the largess tournament. There was
a lot to see and do at the event. As well as helping to coordinate with
Mistresses Alina Elaine Cohen and Gwyndeon Janet Scheltema for the dancing
and concerts.
Leopold Ruber for hosting his lunch tavern — a tasty meal to get us through
the day. Both the goulash and chili were wonderful! And we all want the
recipe for that bread!
Rosalyn and Ilse Patricia Rayl / Heidi Lemon Bill Rayl Uillec MacLamont(and
their husbands Bill and Uillec! because where we go — they do!) For their
prepwork, research and delivery of an amazing feast. There are still so
many great reports of the food and full bellies are still coming in! As
well as for Jason Jeppesen and Beth Lynn who helped with the front-of-house
feast area and servers.
To Lady Tigwyn Ochils for her help as my deputy and for keeping me in line
and level when needed while planning out this event. I hope we offered a
good backdoor view of event planning and you gleaned something in the
process!
And last but not least, Their Excellencies Baronage Cynnabar for their
support and time spent towards the event. You are our inspiration for fun
and moving forward into this new year!
