[Cynnabar] Closing of the Range

Unto to All the Barony of Cynnabar do I, Forester Godhit, offer greetings
and compliments!

Thank you so very much, those who could, for attending yesterday's "Closing
of the Range" which was, of course, Lord Galen's "first" Marshal-in-Charge
archery event! His paperwork for full warranting has been signed and in no
time he'll get that coveted chop to add to his Rapier Marshal c.v.

I want you all to know what a small ordeal it can be, to go through the
warranting process for archery: unlike armored and fencing martial
activities, archery is pretty dependent on outdoor venues and therefore,
WEATHER. Like: yesterday! With fewer archery activities in Pentamere, it's
no small commitment to persist in getting warranted. In years past we could
count on It Takes My Child (etc.) for the Youth Archery Activity, then
BOTIS, Talvonal, Border Wars, Baron Wars, Tyger Hunt, Smurf Shoot,
Waterhorse, VCH, etc. Many of these events are no longer staged and few of
them are currently able to offer our archers' metric, the Royal Round.

All of this to say to Lord Galen, THANK YOU! From the Cynnabar Archery
Community! Well done, and huzzah!

YIS,

Godhit, archer of Cynnabar
