ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Baronial

DEPUTY EXCHEQUER NEEDED: Finn is looking for a deputy to assist with
some of the needs of the role. Duties would be general assistance of
Exchequer things, including: being a legal signatory on our account, and
helping with event gate countdowns. The candidate doesn’t need to be
obligated to take the role over in the future, but mainly to offer general
assistance.

SOCIAL MEDIA DEPUTY NEEDED - Looking for a deputy who would be
interested in taking over the role of social Media officer. Please talk
with Beth or Hannah about the position if interested
-
MEETING SCHEDULE: Please note that we have several upcoming holidays
that fall on Thursdays. There will be no meetings or practices on December
25 or January 1.
General

Food Bank - His Excellency, Bjarki, is kicking off a non-perishable food
drive to support a local food bank! Bring your canned goods and
nonperishable items to help make a difference in our local community. Every
donation helps stock the shelves and supports those in need—let’s show how
generous the SCA spirit can be! (No Cash donations, please make those
directly) Please – no expired food!
NEW BUSINESS:
Baronial Website
Aeffe (Baronial Webminster) joined us to bring updates about the refreshed
Baronial website. These include the following items:

Officers PLEASE – you need to look through the website for content. A
link and instructions were sent to your Baronial email address

There’s a calendar on the site. In the past we’ve had several calendars
and those need to be consolidated into one item to make sure that things
appear on the site

Events - Terp will stay on the old site even through the transition so
we don’t have disruptions

Forms were rebuilt for contacts (Officers, please review)
-
Aeffe will be collecting release forms for any personal information on
the site.

Would like to have officers review before the end of January. Please
reach out to Aeffe to confirm you’ve looked at things
Grand Day of Tournaments
Hannah has a proposal and contract secured by Giovanna to reserve the date
for the Monroe Co. Fairgrounds for October 24, 2026. There’s a $300 deposit
to reserve the site for this date – it is non-refundable.
The payment needs to be made by Feb 5 to save that date. (Meeting 1 or 3-4)

At this time this is just a proposal to save this date - there’s no
event steward currently (if you are interested, please reach out to Hannah
or TEs)

There was a discussion about how difficult it is to find a site for this
event. Should we pass, we might not be able to hold this event
-
There were also discussions about how maybe the group is burned out and
we should pass this year.

We tabled the conversation until next meeting as there would be more
people in attendance

Wanda is hosting the dessert auction - Gregoire is Auctioning

Their Excellencies are holding court

There is a website for the event – please share and invite someone to
attend!

Set up at noon – open at 1-8. Clean up and out by 9

Gingerbread activities. Bring some candy to contribute

Rough schedule - Court will be at 4:30 – food at 5

St. Cecelia at the Tower - June 27, 2026, Peoples Presbyterian) Lead:

The theme this year will be 12th-century music, looking at a newcomer’s
area

The total budget for the site and any incidentals is $525
-
Break even at 35 people/$15 for person
-
Expected attendance is 50

Lunch and dinner budgets are fundraisers and will be separate. Jerry is
interested in putting forth a menu
-
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, Dec 18 – with officer reports!
This is the last meeting/gathering of the year.
