Please read below for the Cynnabar Baronial Meeting July 24th, 2025 - held
at 7:00 pm where we had 16 in attendance

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

It’s Pennsic eve!
-
The link has been posted for Baronial Tshirts if anyone is interested.
(Email and social)
This is a fundraiser where all profits will be donated to the Barony.
The shirts can be customized for an additional cost.

Estimating costs to come around $25/shirt, more for customizing
-
REMINDER – there are NO Gatherings at the church site (Gathering,
practices, or meetings) for a Pennsic Break: July 31 and August 7
August 14th is the next meeting.

If you are attending Pennsic and camping with Cynnabar, there’s a
Sign-Up Job board circulating via email and Facebook. Please sign up for a
camp job

Vikings come home (Sept 12-14th) — there will be a Baronial Cabin.
Please reach out to TEs if you‘d like to stay with the Barony.

Daye has determined that she would like to step down in the fall

Godhit would like to transition from this role at the end of the
year

Lambert has expressed interest is already working as Godhit's
Deputy

*EVENTS *We need Event Stewards!!!

Several events we have typically run in Sept-Jan have yet to be
planned/proposed

It’s also never too early to start planning for Pentamere 12th Night
(2027), when it will be our rotation to host.

Grand Day of Tournaments (October 25, Monroe Fairgrounds) - Leads:

- Johanness is the herald in charge – we need 6 volunteers at a minimum
Pentamere Missel Weapons College Event -
- Dillon was approached about having Cynnabar host this event. More
information has been gathered for the possibility of hosting this event as
we have many questions. More to discuss likely after Pennnsic

OFFICER REPORTS
*Seneschal*
My report will be due before Pennsic (Aug 1), so I will complete it this
week. Would like to have a retreat sometime in the fall – a simple meeting
– with all the officers. The goal of which would be to discuss roles,
responsibilities, and communication. It will likely be held at the church
just after a meeting.
*Herald*
Mostly done updating the OP. We have a couple of people from Northwoods we
will add in SCA names as we do not have release forms for modern names.
*Exchequer*
We have $15,622.79 in the bank. We received a $300 donation from the Celtic
Festival for our participation. For church site rental donations, we have
received $1000 from pass-the-hat. That covers 20 Thursdays. We've had 18 or
19 rentals so far this year.

Report is due at the end of the month. Bunch of participations, no
incidents to report.

The July CITADEL was published on time

July 1 (2nd quarter) Kingdom Report was filed.

According to our Regional Chronicler, finishing touches are being
applied to the long-awaited training materials for branch chroniclers as of
July 12, 2025.

Lambert is now Deputy Chronicler and it’s the intention that they will
be voted in as Chronicler for the April 2026 (1st Q) CITADEL issue.

We need to have a discussion about release forms and ownership as
there’s some confusion about management and maintenance across roles.

Want to report that the website update project is progressing very well.
Will be asking all OFFICERS to review their pages on the original website
to make sure the information there is up to date. Every officer should be
able to update their own page in the current site; if anyone unable to do
this, for whatever reason, please let the webminister know. These pages
should be updated by the end of August.

Baronial meeting/practices
