Cynnabar Baronial Meeting June 19, 2025 - at 7 pm - 17 in attendance
ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We’ll hold a review of our prospective future budget expenses after the
meeting on July 10. (This is the last part of a 3-part financial
reporting process) Finn will post this in advance
-
Note that this date changed from June 29
-
Pennsic Preregistation was extended. The new deadline was June 20!
Please register if you plan to come and camp with Cynnabar. Reach out to
Straum or Tigwyn and please send your tent sizes!

Baronial Border War is this year - we are on Team Donnershafen this year
NEW BUSINESS:

Brochures are needed for Celtic Fest - Daye, Chatelane, asked if we
could get this fast-tracked

She determined $100 should be sufficient to get us through recruitment
-
Group approved under 1 meeting/Seneschal pruvue
OLD BUSINESS:

Officer Changeovers

Daye has determined that she would like to step down by fall revel

Interest was expressed, Daye to follow up

EVENTS

St. Cecilia at the Tower (June 14th) – Lead: Mieczko
-
Recap and report - 50 people at the event
-
Classes and the concert went well – there were a lot of people from
the public who came (at least 10)
-
The concert was recorded and the event stewards can make a copy
available to those that wish
-
Salon went well - worked well to have it in the open room
-
We could do a better job of advertising internally and externally next
year
-
Food was good and feast format worked well
-
Celtic Festival (July 11th and 12th) - Lead: Finn
-
Final walk-through the week before the event – they will figure out
where the final layout for the tents will be
-
Volunteers needed – please contact the dept leads if you plan to
attend so that we know who is coming and where we need to fill in or make
requests for help.

Ilse for A&S display

Sir Midari for armored fighting

THL Throcmorton for rapier fighting

Or Finn for anything
-
Consideration is still underway to upgrade the list field – unsure if
this a repair or a paint project

There’s a subcommittee working on this (Contact Finn)

Maybe or maybe not fixed before Celtic Fest

Grand Day of Tournaments (October 25, Monroe Fairgrounds) - Leads:
Gregoire/Giovanna (not in attendance)

We need a list person for the rapier list person – reach out to
Giovanna or Throckmorton

Johanness is the herald in charge – we need 6 volunteers at a minimum
Our next business meeting will be on June 26th – officer reports!
