[Cynnabar] Meeting minutes from 2/27/2025

Good morning - here are the meeting minutes. Thank you Ceara!

Cynnabar Baronial Meeting February 27th, 2024 at pm -  in attendance

Announcements:

   -

   MoAS - Wanda
   -

      She is planning to create a form to assess the wants/interests in
      regards to A&S within Cynnabar.
      -

         She is meeting with AnneMarie to discuss Her Grace’s previous
         findings first.
         -

      The plan is to release this to the facebook and email list in the
      future.
      -

   Exchequer - Finn
   -

      Encourages donations to support our current site where we gather
      weekly.

   Officer Changeovers

      Seneschal -
      -

         Seneschal is looking to step down and have a deputy trained to
         take over at some point.
         -

         Giovanna will be taking a class on Thursday evenings starting in
         February. Ceara will help with some meetings, but some may need to be
         cancelled.
         -

      Chatelaine
      -

         Daye is going to be stepping down sometime this year and would
         like to find a replacement. If you are interested, please let
either her or
         me know.

   Grand Day of Tournaments (October 25 Monroe Fairgrounds) -
   Gregoire/Giovanna

      Proposal (three of three meetings) - APPROVED
      2.

      Giovanna is looking for someone to help with food vendors (should the
      proposal be accepted.)

   Terpsichore (March 22nd Westminster, 2025) - Alina and Claire
   1.

      Terp booklet party will be March 14th - 7:00pm at Alina’s house.

      3 weeks away!

      We have teachers!
      4.

      Will work with Finn to wrap things up for the payment of the site.

      Lunch menu has been posted.

      Sir Gregoire will be hosting a crafters green. Check the website and
      facebook event page for further details.

      For future information, if we were to host royalty, the sanctuary
      would be available for $50/hour

   Spring Revel (April??) - Usually at the Island Park Pavillion

      If you are interested in running this, please let me know.

      It might be tricky to find a weekend without conflict?

      If no one steps up, Her Excellency would be willing to do it.

      Revels are a great starter event.

   St. Cecilia at the Tower (June 14th) - Mieczko

      Looking for a food coordinator - possibly Hannah

      A call for classes has gone out

      Feedback and commentary from the group: A beginner class or lecture
      class would be appreciated. This would be geared towards people
with little
      to no musical experience. This was supported by at least 4 other
members at
      the meeting.

      There was a question raised about the concert portion of the event.
      Can we treat this as a demo/concert that is open to the public

         Is there a way to charge to get in the door? Is there a way to
         charge without waivers
         1.

            Demo?

            Talk with Giovanna to see what maybe within our availability to
            make this happen.

Officer’s Reports

Seneschal - Ceara has been running meetings for me while I’m in class -
thank you!

Exchequer -

   Working with regional on getting the year end reporting wrapped up.
   -

      We were using the wrong form previously but we’re good now.
      -

      Needs the seneschal signature.

      The transition for the bank account has been completed.

Chatelaine -

   -

   Going to California for the weekend for her birthday. will be back
   Monday. Happy Birthday Daye!

   Daye would like to step down in the fall. Please contact her or Giovanna
   with any questions or let them know if you’re interested.

   Quarterly report was submitted.

Armored - No report. According Their Excellencies there were 2 new Auths
and 2 renewed at Val Day.

Rapier - At Val Day, (2) fencers achieved primary authorization (Jake and
Philip), and 2 acquired re-authorizations (Renzo and H.E. Bjarki)

Practice averaging 4-5 fencers.

A&S - Working on creating and taking surveys for future A&S activities and
events. In addition to the announcement above, Wanda would like to know
what people would like to learn and is looking for teachers to offer
workshops.

Herald -. Working on making sure the OP website and the spreadsheet are
updated with one another.

Social Media - Runa has agreed to be SMO deputy. She is enthusiastic about
creating content.

Chronicler - Working with Webminister as deep dark deputy. Will start work
on next CITADEL (due April 1) next week. Intend to step down with January
2026 issue, assuming world has not ended.

Webminster - Webminister: continuing work on the new website and making
progress.  Terpsichore event site is mostly filled in (we may be waiting
for a final Ball list).  The Grand Day event site is being built (Godhit).
Reminder: the webminister address may not be automatically receiving all
requests for changes to the email list.  I have access that system now and
I check it fairly regularly but contact me if you or someone you know is
waiting for a new account or other updates.

   Announced Beverage and Board Games with the Baroness.

      March 29th at Lady Beth and Sir Jasen’s home
