[Cynnabar] Meeting minutes for 5/8

Good morning - here they are!

Cynnabar Baronial Meeting May 8th, 2025 - at 7:02 pm - 20 in attendance

   Officer Changeovers

      Seneschal -

         Hannah is interested in taking over as Seneschal (two of three
         meetings.)
         -

      Chatelaine
      -

         Daye is going to be stepping down sometime this year and would
         like to find a replacement. If you are interested, please let
either her or
         me know.

Events:


   1.

   Spring Revel (May 4th) - Simone
   1.

      Rainy and cold but people hung out and it was great!
      2.

      Brought in $206 (before expenses)
      3.

      Garage sale - $10 donation
      4.

      Thank you Simone - she would be willing to run it again next year!
      2.

   St. Cecilia at the Tower (June 14th) - Mieczko
   1.

      Contract signed and the money has been delivered.
      2.

      Money is needed for the cash boxes.
      3.

      Proposal for Lunch/Dinner from Hannah (two of three meetings)
      1.

         Asking for $550 for both lunch and dinner
         1.

            Lunch: Service for approx 60 lunches at $7 (A la carte will
            also be made available.)
            1.

               Will also include all-day coffee/tea service
               2.

            Dinner: Service for approx 42 dinners at $12
            4.

      Concert and classes are coming together!
      5.

      The Arbor Consort will be joining the event.



   3.

   Celtic Festival (July 11th and 12th) - Finn
   1.

      There will be a site walkthrough on Tuesday at the Celtic Fest.
      2.

      We will be in a new location - will be up by the front gate instead
      of by the horse compost pile!
      3.

      Finn needs a marshal-in-charge for armored and rapier and also
      someone to coordinate the A&S display.
      4.

      Will need to find a way to go get the list on Friday and return on
      Saturday. Can anyone assist with this? Need a full-size truck.



   4.

   Grand Day of Tournaments (October 25 Monroe Fairgrounds) -
   Gregoire/Giovanna
   1.

      Not having any gambling this year.
      2.

      Insurance rider has been ordered.
      3.

      Johannes will be helping with food trucks.
      4.

      We need a list person for the rapier list.
      5.

      Need at least 4 heralds and several people on the armored list.


Their Excellencies - We are still a Barony!

Our next business meeting will be May 15th.
