Please read below for our minutes from our Cynnabar Baronial Meeting of
August 21, 2025, at 7:00 pm where there were 14 in attendance.

Cynnabar Baronial Meeting Sept. 12, 2025 - at 7:00 pm - 15 in attendance

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

   -

   Vikings come home is this weekend (Sept 12-14) — We look forward to
   seeing everyone at the event!
   -

   The Baronial T-shirt fundraiser added items. Please note that orders
   must be placed by Sept 21st. More items have been added – or soon!
   -

   Official Archery practice this coming Sunday, 2-4 pm. Contact Godhit for
   details
   -

   The church is collecting any “can” tabs for the Ronald McDonald
   Children’s Hospital of AA. Please bring them in and save them! These can be
   from drinks like pop or beer cans, or canned food, etc. The Children’s
   Hospital competes with a rival in Ohio – they want to beat them by total
   weight of tabs. These are needed just before the Michigan/Ohio State games
   – so for us, Thursday, November 20th.

   Baronial Officer “retreat” - meeting scheduled for Monday, 9/15 at 7:30
   pm. Officers should have received invites. Any of the populace who would
   like to attend, please reach out to Hannah for an invite

NEW BUSINESS:
Terpischore - March 27-28, 2026. Lead: Claire (meeting 1 of 3)
Westminster Presbyterian Church
Now with more Terp….on Friday!!!
Budget $1150
77 adult members for a break-even at $15 pp = $1155
We expect about 85 to attend
Starting to get out now, so we can get this advertised on the Kingdom
calendar

OLD BUSINESS:

   Officer Changeovers
   -

      Chronicler (Newsletter) would like to step down (Godhit)
      -

         Godhit would like to transition from this role at the end of the
         year
         -

         Lambert has expressed interest and is already working as Godhit's
         Deputy
         -

         If there are others interested, please contact Godhit, Their
         Excellencies, or the Seneschal for more information
         -

         We will plan to review in October and start to vote officially
         -

      OFFICER CHANGE OVER - Chatelaine (Meeting 2 of 3)
      -

         Asa has officially put their name forward for this role of
         Chatelaine
         -

         We’re looking to do an official changeover of stuff at Grand Day.
         They will be training with Daye until that point



EVENTS

   Grand Day of Tournaments (October 25, Monroe Fairgrounds) - Lead:

      The website is up, and updates are being made

      We need Volunteers – please sign-up has gone out

         Anyone with a voice can be a herald. We need all people.

      Her Excellency confirms that His RM plans to attend!
      -

      Please contact TEs if you have a prize to donate for this event; let
      them know what you might bring and plan on bringing it to the event
      -

         Her Excellency will post some ideas and more information to our
         lists
         -

      Kingdom level award recommendations are needed for Grand Day

   Wassail! - (Sunday, December 14) Lead: Rosalyn McGregor
   -

      Proposed date: Sunday, December 14th, 1 to 9 pm; to be held at
      Chelsea Fairgrounds.
      -

      Would be a suggested donation of $10 pp, with a Breakeven is 18; We
      had approx 60 people attend last year
      -

      The day would consist of general Wassail activities, depending on
      what the group would like: potluck, firepit, Court, Dessert Auction
      -

      The event will be announced in the Oct Citadel
      -
