ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Baronial

   -

   SOCIAL MEDIA DEPUTY NEEDED - Looking for a deputy who would be
   interested in taking over the role of social Media officer. Please talk
   with Beth or Hannah about the position if interested
   -

   A&S Night - Project Night - Starting next week (1/15), a “Third
   Thursday” Crafting: a community night to connect, share experiences,
   socialize, and work on projects! All skill levels welcome. Come with – or
   without a project! It’s our goal to hold this every Third Thursday after
   the business meeting. Please join us!
   -

   Budget review meeting to be held post-business meeting (1/22). We’ll
   review the 2026 budget and spend together as a Financial Committee group.
   While this must include both our Exchequer and Senschal, all are also
   welcome to review and offer input.


General
None


NEW BUSINESS:

Children’s Healing Center (Asa) in Ypsi would like us to do volunteer
activities. They have been reaching out to area groups and businesses to
offer to see how we can collaborate. We discussed this as a possible group
activity, but we need to get more information from them about their space
and what they are looking for from us. Needs more definition. Asa will
reach back out to their contact to determine if this is a good fit.


OLD BUSINESS:
Baronial Website
Aeffe (Baronial Webminster) reminds us again that the Baronial website
refreshed look is coming soon!

   -

   ALL OFFICERS, please update your pages before the end of January. We
   would like a state of modernity to the content that’s currently being
   shown. Aeffe will be able to help if you need it.
   -

   If you want to get WordPress access to DIY, please reach out to her.
   -

   Please reach out to Aeffe to confirm you’ve looked at things
   -

   We are looking to going live on Feb.



Grand Day of Tournaments

Hannah has a proposal and the contract secured by Giovana to reserve the
date for the Monroe Co. Fairgrounds for October 24, 2026. There’s a $300
deposit to reserve the site for this date – it is non-refundable.

The payment needs to be made by Feb 5 to save that date. (Meeting 3 of 4)

   -

   At this time, this is just a proposal to save this date - there’s no
   event steward currently (if you are interested, please reach out to Hannah
   or TEs)
   -

   While there was group conversation burn out – our focus was on the
   deposit this week.
   -

   It was brought up that should we not make the deposit our risk would be
   to possibly not have a site to hold this event, based on the logistics
   needed to run it
   -

   A reminder we decided a “go or no go” date:
   -

      For an event steward and marshal in charge, we determined we need to
      know by the first meeting in May


EVENTS

MAKE A NOTE: Event Stewards are needed for upcoming events. Please reach
out to find out more information! (WILL TRAIN!)

   We need a person to run the lunch tavern - reach out to Claire or Hannah

   We need to clarify the time for set up and tear down with the times.

St. Cecelia at the Tower - June 27, 2026, Peoples Presbyterian) Lead: Sir
Mieczko (not in attendance)

   -

   Lunch and dinner budgets are fundraisers and will be separate. Jerry is
   interested in putting forth a menu
