Barony of Cynnabar<BR>Weekly Meeting<BR>Mon, Nov 9, 2009<BR> <BR> <BR> <BR><U>Events</U><BR>Reminder: GRAND TOURNEY IS THIS WEEKEND, Sat, Nov 14, at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds.<BR> <BR><U>Fall Harvest<BR></U>Lord Tairdelbach and Lady Hannah attended the Fall Harvest event in Hudsonville this weekend. It was a small enjoyable event. The feast was good. TRMs were in attendance.<BR>********<BR> <BR><U>Fireside Chat </U><BR>The Baronial Candidates held a fireside chat outside at the Michigan Union on Sunday. The populace asked many insightful questions.<BR>*******<BR> <BR><U>Rose Tourney<BR></U>Nothing new. Sites are still being researched.<BR>*******<BR> <BR><U>Grand Tourney</U><BR>Everything is set. Volunteers to set-up and tear-down are always needed. We also need more voice heralds.<BR> <BR>Lord Bjarki will bring the old list field. Their Excellencies will bring the padded floor. Lord Vincent will bring the new list.<BR> <BR>TRMs will be given tokens to use and distribute as they please.<BR> <BR>Remember to bring items for the bake sale.<BR>**********<BR> <BR><U>Sun Shade</U><BR>Nothing new to report<BR>*******<BR> <BR><U>Baronial Borders</U><BR>This issue is tabled for the moment.<BR>*******<BR> <BR><U>Terpsichore</U><BR>Event is Sat, March 20, 2010, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Saline.<BR>The other dates we inquired about are unavailable. <BR>*******<BR><BR><U>Wassail</U><BR>Event is Sat, Dec 19, 2009, St. Andrews in Dexter<BR> <BR>Schedule:<BR>10-11am -Set-up<BR>12p -Activities. Info will be posted to the list at a later date.<BR>5:30p- -Pot Luck<BR>*******<BR> <BR><U>Baronial Transition</U><BR>There have been many question and answer sessions with the Baronial Candidates. Unless any more interest is shown the sessions are complete. <BR> <BR>Polls will be sent out in early December. It should be done by the end of that month.<BR> <BR>The tentative date for Baronial Transition when TRMs can attend is the last weekend in March, 2010. The weekend after Terpsichore. We would like to use the same site as Wassail. We are checking the schedule. More info to come.<BR> <BR>There is a proposal to budget $2000.00(two thousand dollars) to purchase new thrones for the new Baron and Baroness. There are three meetings before a vote. This counts as one. Voting will be two meetings in the future.<BR> <BR>Their Excellencies will be in charge of the Baronial Transition Event.<BR>***********<BR> <BR> <BR><U>Funds for Trigger Fabric</U><BR>It has been verified that it is allowed to purchase fabric to make items to give away. More info to come.<BR>*****<BR> <BR><U>Meeting Agendas</U><BR>Concern was expressed about knowing meeting agendas beforehand and knowing when items will be voted on. It was recommended that the minutes include voting info. <BR> <BR>New information for meeeting agenda's is not always available beforehand. So it's not possible to post.<BR>***********<BR> <BR><U>Gift Exchange</U><BR>The gift exchange will be the last meeting before Christmas, Mon, Dec. 14. There is a $10 limit and items should be new.
