Pinckney is my hometown, From Personal experience, North Woods says it's Cynnabar and Cynnabar says it's North Woods. I've been trying to get Demos out in the Pinckney area since I joined 6 years ago! I'd like more details about this, but I may be interested!<br>

I just received a phone call from a lady in the Pinckney area who has asked if anyone would be available for a few hour demo. I realize Pinckney is technically Northwoods, but before reaching out to them, I wanted to see if anyone here might be interested in a few hour Demo. She says the gathering starts at noon, and ends when everyone either leaves or goes to sleep. I wasn't figuring more than two to three hours, if anyone is interested.<br>

Unfortunately, she has it scheduled for the day of Land Grab. Apparently it's some sort of Metaphysical "conference" that does themes every year, and this year's theme is the Renaissance. She said she heard about us from a SCAdian while working as a Volunteer Usher at an event at the Fox in downtown Detroit, and that she is willing to make an undetermined at this time donation if we can get some folks out there.<br>
<br>
I told her that it was Land Grab weekend, and that a large majority of folks weren't going to be in the area. I didn't commit to anything, other than to let her know by this coming Friday if this is something we'd be able to pull off.<br>
<br>
As I mentioned, I understand it's land grab, and two weeks after the Celtic Fest demo. If it's something the Barony isn't interested in, that's not a problem.<br>
<br>
(Would have brought it to the meeting tonight, but I'm on afternoons today, so can't make it.)<br>
<br>
