This may sound crazy, but ... I'm adding to my garb and I plan on buying a
Cavalier style hat with a feather. I've heard that certain feathers had
special meaning during the various times in history and in the SCA. I was
hoping to avoid buying a feather that said the wrong thing about me (well,
I am crazy). :)

Maybe I misheard this, but any clarification would be appreciated.
