[Cynnabar] BoC - Settlement funding discussion

The Crown has said that those who can give more, may do so.

I have made an inquiry as to what exactly will happen if any additional monies are sent in above the required settlement amount. Hopefully that will help clarify people's discussions.

I'm a little confused. As I understand the information, the minimum we
must give is $331.26 (18% of our year-end 2010 balance). My
understanding is that the percentage was determined by looking at
every branch's 2010 year-end balance and determining the percentage
everyone needs to give to fund the settlement. My understanding is
that we were not asked to give and we are not expected to give any
more than this -- if we give additional money, it wouldn't be used to
fund the settlement. I'm not at all against contributing extra because
we can, either to other local groups whose situation will be made
precarious by this, the Kingdom, or the Society, but anything extra
should go through the normal discussion period.
