That's an excellent point Gregoire. My hope is to get the ball rolling  
here and do the best we can about being as fair in collecting  
consensus as possible. It seems clear that a number of people have  
expressed a desire to decide before this weekend by using the  
emergency clause to bypass meetings. If that is being done, then a  
poll is the most constructive and accommodating method I could think  
of. If anybody has a better idea, I sincerely hope they will propose it.
