Unto Their Excellencies Cynnabar and Their Most Distinguished
Populace, Greetings and Compliments!

Since I am a newly come to the office of Archery Marshal I must add my
testimony in witness of this achievement so graciously recognized at
the late court of Their Majesties Dag and Annemarie, in recognition of
the efforts of those who truly laid the groundwork on which this
particular citadel was built:

The tireless and near-daily work of The Honorable Lord Forester Dillon
ap Dillon, Drago Artifex, in the construction and maintenance of his
range, open to all of the Populace, and at which we have our weekly
practices;

Her Excellency Giovanna, who for several years before my arrival in
the Barony publicized Forester Dillon's range and coordinated the
weekly practices there;

And all who, specifically this year, from It Takes My Child in April,
through on to this last weekend in Cynnabar, took up bows and
crossbows in locations as remote as Sternfeld, and proudly identified
themselves as an archer or arbalestier of Cynnabar.

But I think the most eloquent testimony is expressed in the outcome of
a contest in Weldlake but two weeks ago -- when with the first
Baronial loaner bow, and loosing arrows assembled by members of the
Populace at a Craft Night hosted by The Honorable Lady Arin, Lord
Eachan de Barde won the contest of "Tap the Keg," the only archer of
either barony to conquer this most daunting target.

Led by Baron Tairdelbach with the bow and Baroness Hannah with the
crossbow, Cynnabar took three of four contests of archery skill at
that event.

I need say no more, but HOOBAH indeed, and Long Life and Prosperity to
Cynnabar, its Baron and Baroness, and its Populace!

Yours Most Humbly In Service to Their Excellencies Cynnabar, Their
Populace, and the King and Queen of the Greatest Kingdom, the Middle,

Lady Godaeth, Group Marshal for Archery in Cynnabar
