[Cynnabar] Cynnabar Chronicles proposal

Hi All-

   Yay, Cynnabar history!

I think that both Lady Ceara and Sir Ranthulfr have hit on some very
key, important points: we need our history, the history we are making
everyday, to be recorded and we need to do it in a way that is accessible
and convenient for all.

I believe that the scrapbook is a fantastic idea - it can be taken
anywhere and shown to anyone, no electricity/network connection required.
This will help us with demos and recruiting, as well as give us the
opportunity to point and laugh at our current goofy haircuts in ten years
time!

A huge thank you to Lady Ceara for volunteering to do this for us.

I also think that digital is a boon when trying to store huge amounts of
information. It also gives us a way to keep the records forever, with
minimal upkeep. Here, what I propose might be the easiest way to handle a
digital history would be to create a cynnabar.org Wiki that members of the
barony can edit themselves to self-report what happened at events. This
allows all of the information Lady Ceara has listed below and more to be
added with minimal effort from the Historian. The Historian could simply be
the moderator for the comments and the person who reminds people to self
report when the initial enthusiasm dies off. The other benefit of a Wiki is
that those who don't want their info recorded don't have to participate.

Regards,
-Gregoire.
