[Cynnabar] Performance Opportunity at Spring Revel

Hello, Cynnabar!

One of my goals as Baronial A&S Champion is to encourage the development of
performing arts in Cynnabar. With that in mind, I am hosting a performance
circle at Spring Revel. It will be a low-key opportunity for everyone to
share the things they're excited about and to entertain the barony in the
process.

All of you are invited to perform and attend.

Any type of performance is allowed (acrobatics, sleight of hand, poetry
recitation, how-to demonstration, dog training, idk, whatever you want).
There are only three criteria (and they're super basic):

   1. it should be a performance (i.e., something that happens in real
   time, not an object you've created--though talking about the object could
   be a performance if you wanted),
   2. don't make it too long (use your discretion, but an entire
   performance of *Julius Caesar* is too much, sorry), and
   3. it should be period-related in some way (whatever that means to you).


Examples of possible performances:

   - read aloud from a translation of a medieval short story
   - bring a song with words you wrote to a period tune; teach it to the
   audience
   - do a short comedy routine on a period topic or using a period kind of
   comedy
   - perform a solo or group dance--or teach a dance move to the audience
   - demonstrate an impressive-looking fighting technique
   - recite a Shakespearean monologue
   - tell everyone your favorite episode in the life of a cool historical
   person
   - use a period fortune-telling method to divine the future


I encourage you to bring something to share, even if you don't normally
think of yourself as a performer. And whether you perform or not, please
come and watch/listen. My plan is for there to be lots of audience
interaction, so we'll need an audience! It's going to be a lot of fun. :D

But I will certainly accept last-minute additions, too. :)
