Event and Demo Reports

Ale to the Victors (Oct. 26th weekend) - Event could have been call "Hail to
the Victors" due to the weather. Estimate about 75 Cynnabar and 92
Northwoods people showed up. It was wet and cold. But armored fighters had
fun. It was also fun that the 'events' happened so people could see most
activities.

Fencing Demo (Oct. 27th) - Went really well. We had 9 fencers for 30 people
who came to see. Galen did a wonderful job. May end up with a cool video.

Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos

Grand Day of Tournaments (Nov. 16th) - Will now also be joined by their
Highnesses of Eldomere. Arin and Jadzia are going for a site visit for their
respective areas.

Wassail! (Dec. 14th) - We have a contract for the site and have had a site
visit.

Nicola's Gift Wrapping (Dec. 21st and 22nd) - We are volunteering in-garb
gift wrapping at Nicola's again where any tips Cynnabar can keep as
donations. This has been lots of fun in the past and good exposure for
Cynnabar and the SCA. Members can take 2 or more hour blocks/shifts and help
out. Times would be start from 10:am and end around 6:pm-8:pm.

12th night 2014 (Jan. 4th, 2014) - Planning meeting shortly. Choir booking
for doing lunch tavern. Discussion of funds to possibly purchasing Baronial
instruments.

Terpsichore 20 (March 29th, 2014) - No update.

St. Cecilia (May 9th-10th, 2014) - Working on new website. Still working on
plans.

Old Business

UoM Student group/recruiting - As this will be an ongoing effort, we will
keep this on our meeting discussion agenda for the foreseeable future.

New Business

Holiday Gift Exchange - Cynnabar's annual holiday gift exchange will be on
Dec. 30th (the 5th Monday). Details soon.

Announcements

No Baronial Business meeting Dec. 23rd.

setting up a program similar to modern scout programs. See Ceara's posts for
more details.

Officer Repots (normally done on 4th Tuesday of each month)

Exchequer (Tristan) - We have money and no we can't have any. 3rd quarter
report is in. With current Baronial funds, we can buy 6 head of cattle, the
high quality grazing steer too! That's about $7136.51.

Webminister (Aaron) - We have a website.

Fencing Marshal (Galen) - (via e-mail) Fencing is going well, and hopefully
will continue to do so. The Demo yesterday went very well and we had more
fencers show up for that than typically show up to practice. Feel free to
contact me if you have any questions.

MoAS (Arin) - Report is in on time. Craft nights still happening.

Mo Youth (Ceara) - There will be a track of youth classes at GDoT. Kids
activities at Wassail.

Chatelaine (Genoveva) - Had demo, went well. Report will be submitted. New
people continuing to contact her. Gold key will be at GDoT.

Chronicler (Ermenrich) - Next issue of the Citadel will be Dec 5th. Winter
themed issue, please contribute by Nov. 23rd.

Herald (Johannes) - Report submitted.

Knight Marshal (Jason) - Practice continues. Will be doing armored fighter
roster soon along with inventory of loaner gear.

Archery Marshal (Godaeth) - We had practice. Had the Closing of the Range
with wonderful weather and a nice time by all, including lots of thrown
weapons! Nov. 10th is last schedule practice of the year.

Seneschal (Finn) - Nothing new to report.

Baron and Baroness (Hanna and Tairdelbach) - They sent their report in on
time. Finn gets a 100% raise. Please send in award recommendations. Wassail!
And 12th Night events coming up soon. We are still a Barony of the Middle
