Hello, Barony of Cynnabar. :)

My successor will be chosen at Wassail on December 14, and I would like to
ask you all to seriously consider whether you might enter the competition.

The A&S Champion contributes to the health and prosperity of the barony by
contributing to its positive image, leading others by example and by
explicit instruction, and creating relationships with artists and
scientists from other places.

The competition is open to any non-Laurel who studies or practices an art
or science of any kind, whether that take the form of a physical object, a
performance, or excellent research (or, perhaps, a form I haven't thought
of!). My personal hope is that we will have the privilege of selecting from
several candidates with a variety of skills and knowledges, and that the
competition will showcase the depth and breadth of Cynnabar's very, very
rich A&S culture.

Please consider carefully whether this is something you can do for the
barony.

If you would like to compete, we would appreciate it if you would let us
know (either me or Their Excellencies) within the next week or so. We want
to make sure we have appropriate discussion time, performance conditions,
and display space available for you.

In service,
Kasha Alekseeva
Baronial A&S Champion
