Here are the minutes from last meeting:

Event and Demo Reports

Monthly tourneys at practice - Gregoire won the armored and Mathias won the
rapier.

Garb workday - Small but good.

Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos

Terpsichore 20 (March 29th, 2014) - Everything going well. Planning is
happening. The event steward has the team for lunch tavern lined up (HE
Hanna, Aeffe and Godaeth). Still looking for prize donations.

St. Cecilia (May 9th-10th, 2014) - Invitations are being sent to teachers.
Their highnesses are being invited.

Grand Day of Tournament (Nov. 15th, 2014) - No update

Old Business

Grand Day of Tournament Budget (up to $2000) - This is the 3rd of our 3
meeting discussion/approval process. Lady Agnoletta will be event steward.
Same budget planned as last year (site, prizes, fighter food, etc.) all but
lunch tavern. APPROVED!

Mass Meeting demo (Sept. 23rd) - This is the 3rd of our 3 meeting
discussion/approval process. This is to support the demo as group. Same demo
planned as last year. Show (no combat) demo at the U. of Michigan from 6:PM
to 9:PM. APPROVED!

Capital investment of loaner crossbow ($50) - This is the 3rd of our 3
meeting discussion/approval process. Forrester Dillon is willing to sell the
Barony a crossbow to add to our Baronial archery loaner gear for only $50.
It is confirmed by some of our good archery folks that this is a good
beginner crossbow. It is also agreed that $50 is a VERY good bargain for
something like this. APPROVED!

Spring Revel Event and Budget (April 27th, 2014) - This is the 3rd of our 3
meeting discussion/approval process. This would be to support the event and
spend up to $175 for the site rental (includes alcohol permit). APPROVED!

New Business

Costume Shop donation ($100 for muslin) - This is the 1st of our 3 meeting
discussion/approval process Every year we try to give back to the costume
shop where we are generously allowed to use for our grab workdays (run by
Mistress Melisant) by donating needed muslin for them to use. The suggestion
is to by 2-3 bolts (about 50 yards) of muslin and if there is any money left
over it will go buying distilled water for the irons. Everyone likes the
idea of giving back to such a great resource. Finn will look into the muslin
and prices as he found a great deal last time.

Saline Celtic Festival (July 11th and 12th) (demo support and $100 for
snacks and Gatorade) - This is the 1st of our 3 meeting discussion/approval
process This is to support the annual event/demo at the Saline Celtic
Festival and spend up to $100 on snacks and Gatorade (the Festival provides
water). No issues or concerns.

Announcements

Feb. 8th there will be a Brewers Guild meeting at Aelfric's 

Officer Repots (normally done on 4th Tuesday of each month)

Exchequer (Tristan) - We have money and no we can't have any. We can buy
632.68 oz. of silver which is about $12,590.39, but there still is around
$3000 of outstanding receipts due.

Webminister (Aaron) - 

Fencing Marshal (William) -

MoAS (Arin) -

Mo Youth (Ceara) -Report is into regional. Trying to determine budget for
kids pre-planned activities/materials that can brought to events. Updates to
the Youth Baronial web pages.

Chatelaine (Genoveva) - Winterfest demo went well. Trying to persuade people
to attend events..

Chronicler (Ermenrich) - Next issue of the Citadel will be March 8th and
will be a 'fools edition'. Please have any submissions to Ermenrich by Feb
8th. 

Herald (Johannes) - Report is in, last month's herald night was cancelled
due to weather.

Knight Marshal (Jason) - No report.

Archery Marshal (Godaeth) -  Range is closed for the season. Trying to
encourage Forrester Grey into attending the upcoming Fighter's Retreat to
talk about combat archery. 

Seneschal (Finn) - Starting to look for people who may be interested in
becoming the next Baronial Seneschal with transition probably around the end
of this year. If interested, please contact Finn or Their Excellencies. 

Baron and Baroness (Hanna and Tairdelbach) - Please send in award
recommendations for Terp by end of February. Choosing a new Armored and
Rapier Champions at Spring Revel. We are still a Barony as far as we are
aware.
