Event and Demo Reports

Reign of Arrows - Absolute gas of an event. Awesome targets. Lots of
shooting. Lots of fun. Increasingly good event.

Summer Revel -  Lots of fun. Wet in spots. Lot of new people. New people
showing up to other activities as well!

Harvest Days (ToC) -  Good event. Great fighting. Over 500 people at event
and court had 4 elevations and 2 more put on vigil. 

Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos

Mass Meeting Demo (Tues. Sept. 23rd) - No updates.

Closing of the Range III (Sun. Oct. 26th) - Is under new management.
Forrester Gray will now be Archery Marshal in Charge. Good opportunity for
anyone that wants (or is) to be an Archery Marshal in Training to get
experience. There will be lots of archery, thrown weapons and some fighting
and rapier as the normal Sunday practice will be moving to this site/event!
There will also be a pot-luck feast. Need help with setup and take-down.

A Grand Day of Tournaments (Sun. Oct. 26th) - Thanks to Genoveva for being
an interim deputy while Godaeth and Aeffe were on a (much deserved)
vacation. We are exactly where we need to be at this time with the
event/planning. First staff meeting is this Wednesday (the 10th) 6:pm-ish.
Looking for prizes! Lunch tavern being worked on. We have been asked to host
the Pentamere Regional Craftsperson's Fair.  

Kerrytown Kindle Fest Demo (Fri. Dec. 5th) - Still waiting on application. 

Nicola's Gift Wrapping (Sat. Dec. 13th and Sun. Dec. 21st) - This is to
support our annual gift wrapping in garb we do for Nicola's Bookstore. Amyon
will start coordinating sign-up sheets towards the beginning of December.

Wassail! (Sat. Dec. 20th) - We have a contract. We also have the site
available to us till 2:30 AM. We may not hang anything on the walls. We may
not have any open flames. Flames in glass/hurricane enclosures are OK. See
"New Business" for budget item.

Old Business

Budget item for Youth Office ($50) - Request from the Minister of Youth
(Lady Ceara) for supplies/items for the office, including balloon pumps, a
chest for holding items (better looking than a plastic tub) and paints to
paint the chest. This is the 3nd of our 3 meeting discussion/approval
process. No issues or concerns. APPROVED!

Budget item for new stakes for Baronial shade fly ($130) - We are in woeful
need of stakes for the Baronial shade fly. Sir Straum has found a source for
good stakes and is requesting $130 to buy 25 stakes (and cover shipping).
This is the 2nd of our 3 meeting discussion/approval process. There were no
issues or concerns.

Budget item for Exchequer supplies ($11.12) - Our illuminating Exchequer
Tristan need to buy new columned pads for the office at the grand total of
$11.12. After minor persnicketyness from the folks in attendance, there was
no issues with this request..for the moment. This is the 2nd of our 3
meeting discussion/approval process.

New Business

Using Baronial archery backstop at Stormvale Demo - Forrester Grey would
like to use our archery backstop to assist .

UoM Student Group Discussion - Our.

Announcements

Mistress Arin - Going to the Castle tomorrow.

HE Hannah - Late Summer Revel is Sunday. No rain plan. "Bad weather makes
for good stories."
