[Cynnabar] Mass Meeting Next Tuesday: We Need You!

Greetings unto the populace of Cynnabar!

Cynnabar's big Mass Meeting is NEXT TUESDAY! This is an important event
that we need as many members of the populace to attend.

Date: Thursday, September 23
Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: Michigan Union, Anderson Ballroom (ABCD)
Wear garb, please.

Please come join us to welcome students and others and make introductions
to the SCA. This is a great time to bring a friend or spread the word to
someone you feel might be interested in the SCA, as well... please spread
the word! Advertised start time is 7:30 for invitees to allow us time to
setup the room.

Last year's casual format with stations around the room to visit worked
well, and that's my plan for this year again (but with a couple added
things thanks to a larger space). So we need people to demonstrate all that
the SCA has to offer. Bring your A&S projects, photos, stories, books,
armor or other activities. It's nice to have both things to show off as
well as things to demonstrate.

We have the room for both fighting/fencing and dancing demonstrations, so
fighters, fencers, and dancers, please plan to attend. Assuming we can get
enough folks to demonstrate, this is a tentative schedule of the evening:

7:00-&;30 - Setup
7:30-8:00 - General mingling and wandering around the stations
8:00-8:15ish - Fighting demonstration
8:15-8:30 - Transition/stations
8:30-8:45 - Dancing demonstration
8:45-9:00 - Wind down and clean up
