Hattie:

I assume the group needs to come to an agreement that Pierpont Commons
sounds like a place to go, which I imagine would happen either this week by
email or next week at Monday's meeting. Perhaps just check out
availability of the rooms for now, on Mondays from 7-9 pm, to see when it's
possible to start meetings there, if people decide we should try it.

NC43 is the number of the free evening parking lot closest to Pierpont
Commons, not a room.

Looking at the rooms in Pierpont (everyone can look at their specs easily
here: http://uunions.umich.edu/pierpont/rooms/639) that are available for
student use free of charge and are about the right size:

-* Boulevard Room, North East Room, and South East Room*: all of really
nice size for meetings plus activities (~900 sq feet). All have 10 ft
ceilings (good for martial demonstrations) and are on the upper floor, so
can probably use them interchangeably if Mondays aren't all free at one of
them.
- *Center Room:* a little smaller (20x29), but still a fine size for
meetings
- *Corner Room:* 13 x 14: probably too small
- *Executive Suite:* not exactly a room, but an alcove... might work okay,
though.
-* East Room*: costs us money - nope!

So I would look into the availability in the Boulevard Room, NE Room, or SE
Room (pick one randomly, or ask which one has the most availability on
Mondays 7-9 pm). If none of those are free, check the Center Room. Then
maybe the Executive Suite or Corner Room, but maybe not.

Also, we don't have meetings the first Monday of every month - just the
others. First Monday is Herald's Night.

Feel free to chime in if anyone has other ideas.

~Birke
