Event and Demo Reports

None

Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos

Terpsichore at the Tower (Mar. 7th, 2015) - Staff meeting last week. Went
well. Ball list will be up soon. Class list coming together. The check for
renting the site is out. Mistress Alaina will be doing the booklets and will
need help with assembly soon. 

St. Cecilia at the Tower (April 24th - 26th, 2015) - The check for renting
the site is out.

Spring Crown Tournament (May 23rd and 24th, 2015) - We officially have the
site, including setup time on Friday night. Meeting Saturday morning at
Saline library at 10:AM. Still have some staff position open.

Old Business

New officer for Chatelaine position: Daeg Ingen Aeda (called Daye) -This is
the 3rd of our 3 meeting discussion/approval process. APPROVED!

Group Policy Proposal: New method of identifying our Event Stewards during
the event - Given by Sir Gregoire. We should have an easily recognizable
outfit (uniform?) for our Event Steward(ess) to wear. One of the most easily
recognizable outfit ever is that of the Pan-Am Stewardess! Therefore we
should have ALL Event Steward(ess) wear a Pan-Am Stewardess outfit (done in
a period style of course!).  This may be the 3rd of our 3 meeting
discussion/approval process for this.idea.  

Lots of people think this is not a good idea. Consensus is to the negative!
Please note, Cynnabar will not REQUIRE the Pan-Am Event Stewardess outfit,
but that does not preclude some ambitious person from doing it on their own.
Just sayin'...

New proposal to fund making of new Baronial t-shirts ($100) - Gavril has a
cool design for a t-shirt and is looking for funding ($100) to start the
first run with a local t-shirt making company. The majority of the cost is
to go to making the screens for a 4 color design. A screen print shirt has
better colors and will last longer. It will take only selling 20 shirts to
break even. It was discussed putting the design on other items like tote
bags or long sleeve shirts or hoodies. This is the 2rd of our 3 meeting
discussion/approval process. 

            Good feedback on this idea. Some questions though. Will people
in the Barony get to use the design if Gavril goes away? Can others order
from the company or just Gavril? 

New Business

Demo: Cub Scouts. (Monday Feb. 23rd 7:PM to 8:PM) - Can we support this with
the time? Getting more details on what they are looking for in particular. 

Event: Spring Revel (Sunday April 12th. $250 budget) - Baroness Kasha
proposed a $250 budget is for covering site (including alcohol license),
children supplies, potluck supplies and incidentals. This is the 1st of our
3 meeting discussion/approval process.

Group Discussion

Announcements

Forrester Grey is looking for 8 inch thick, 2 foot diameter logs for thrown
targets. Pine, aspen and willow work best.

Mistress Clair wanted to publicly thank Genoveva for the great web page and
pale add for Crown.

Monthly tournaments are on Feb. 1st.

Fighters retreat is Feb. 27th thru 1st. 

Officer Reports (normally done on 4th Monday of each month)

Exchequer (Tristan) - Doing well. YWHMANYCHA. We have 39.15 pounds of silver
(at market value of 627.06/oz). Or about $11626.06. Tristan also had our
year-end financial report for everyone to see and read.

Webminister (Aaron) - Working on a new Order of Precedence... Should have
done this years ago. Will be much easier to edit/update. Jadzia is working
on a piece for it that will allow people to record a pronunciation for their
name.

- There is still an issue with hotmail rejecting mail sent through the
mailing list. Very difficult to get information from hotmail. I will give an
update when or if I have any more information. In the meantime, I suggest
subscribing to the mailing list from a non-hotmail email address.

Fencing Marshal (William) - No report.

MoAS (Arina) - Have several people doing the Blank Scroll Challenge. Arina
will be in Sweden for a month after Val Day. Her deputy Aeffa will be doing
something to continue craft nights. Arina now has a spinning wheel. 

Mo Youth (Ceara) - No report.

Chatelaine (Genoveva) - It's Genoveva's last report as Baronial Chatelaine!
Number of requests for gold key. (We all applauded for Genoveva and her
great work she has done in the office!)

Chronicler (Gavriil) - No report

Herald (Johannes) - No Report

Knight Marshal (Gregor) - Practices continuing. Good attendance. Lots of new
fighters over the past several practices. 

Archery Marshal (Open position) - None.

Seneschal (Finn) - I'm awesome. And the next seneschal selection process
will start in February or March.

Baron and Baroness (Kasha and Ermenrich) - Please send in award
recommendations both Baronial and Kingdom levels. We are still a Barony.
