*Workshop Topics:*  Tonight was:

*Temari balls with Lady Terryl. *

*Next week:  **June 27 Medieval Mustard by Baroness Hannah Schreiber. *Mustard
and mustard sauces were possibly the most common condiment used on the
Medieval table. Come learn a short history of mustard, recipes used and how
to make your own handmade mustard. This class is will be HANDS ON and you
will walk away with some of your own mustard!  *Participants will be asked
for $2 for ingredients and supplies.*

would like to present a workshop.  All topics are of interest.

*I Upcoming Baronial Events and Demos*

1) DEMO: Celtic Festival, July 9 2016 – Baron Tairdelbach has minor queries
in with the site liaisons.

2) EVENT: PENNSIC XLV, July 30-August 15, 2016 – *Baroness Kasha* is
seeking volunteers for organizing the food offerings for Knowne Worlde
Baronial Armored Champions Tournament (fighter food and snacks for the
barons and baronesses), and for the Baronial Potluck.  Both activities
occur on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.  *Contact her with your offer to help*.
Otherwise, let her know if you have any other news or announcements to
share with the barony pertaining to Pennsic XLV.

-No announcement yet about a work schedule for the making of items for the
camp, but possibly mid-July.

-Archery procession to shoot the populace war point as a Barony will take
place on Sunday, August 7th, at 2:00 p.m.  *Those in need of archery
equipment or repairs should contact Forester Grey Oddson.  Pennsic does not
offer any loaner gear; there may be a limited number of loaner items
available from Grey.  Contact him by July 30.*

3) EVENT: Grand Day of Tournaments, November 5, 2016.  Forester Grey
announced that there will be an “atl atl cattle battle”.  No other updates.

4) EVENT: WASSAIL 2016 (traditionally in December) – Time to book the site.
Seeking Steward and Proposal.  Proposals due by July 11.  *Contact Baroness
Kasha* if you are interested or need more information.

5) EVENT: Pentamere Twelfth Night 2017 (“Old Business”).  The Honorable
Lady Ceara will have more details at the June 27th meeting.

6) EVENT: Terpsichore at the Tower, April 1 2017 (“Old Business”).  Lord
Gavriil reports no word yet from the site; he is contacting the Honorable
Lord Aelfric.  A class coordinator has been identified.  Need help with set
up, tear down, and many other positions.

*II Old Business*

1) Officer vacancies:

-Pursuivant – first meeting of three for approving Lord Eadraed, with
Forester Grey Oddson as his deputy.

-Knight Marshal – Mistress Genoveva read a letter from The Honorable Lord
Gregor: deadline for applying for the position is July 17th.  This
announcement will also be posted in the Baronial email list and
Facebook.  *Contact
Gregor von Holstein* for more information.  *Master Zygmunt* was present
and expressed an interest.

-Chatelaine – current Chatelaine The Honorable Lady Daeg will step down at
Terpsichore.

-Minister of Youth – Lady Terryl would like to serve as a deputy but not as
a minister at this time.  No other nibbles.

2) Terpsichore at the Tower 2017 proposal, budget $500: (meeting 2/3) –
Event steward and date.  Budget will be reviewed later.

*IV Status check on approved budget items*

1) Medallions – components have been ordered and some new medallions will
be done in time for Court distribution at Pennsic.

2) Travel fund donation – no update.

3) Muslin for Michigan University costume shop – the cloth has been
delivered.

4) Trailer – assumed to be in progress, no update.

5) Stickers with Baronial populace badge – Mistress Kay will look into this
after July.

*V Group discussion *

None.

*VI Announcements*

1) If you need archery equipment for Pennsic *see Forester Grey* NOW.

2) Citadel deadline – July 3, but may be extended.  Get those articles
done. Theme is “Directions: Western Europe.”

3) Scribal Saturday – June 25.  Details posted in Facebook group, or *contact
Baroness Hannah*.

*VII Event and Demo Reports*

--Garb Workday – at least eight attendees!  Very busy and productive.

*VIII Words from Their Excellencies*

Pennsic planning: if you need information about Pennsic (first timers or
experienced campers) *contact Baroness Kasha*.  The new person orientation
tour will take place.  Planning for court is proceeding, no specific
information yet but that this year’s theme is, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

-*Monday evening, August 8*: Chivalric round tables.  Members of the
Chivalry answer your questions.

-*Tuesday evening*, *August 9*: gambling and gaming.  Bring your period (or
other) games.  Accompanied by a bardic performance.

-*Wednesday, August 10*: Knowne Worlde Baronial Armored Champions
Tournament hosted by Cynnabar; camp potluck; Baronial Court.

-*Friday evening, August 12:* Eat it, Drink it, Burn it night, followed by
games. Sir Gregoire will organize activities.
