*Workshop Topics:*  Tonight was *Early period embroidery make-n-take with
Lady Aeffe*.

·         Please join us at 6:30 for an interesting topic before each
meeting.

·         Please tell Baroness Hannah Schreiber at dawnlsinclair at gmail.com if
you would like to present a workshop.  All topics are of interest.

*March 28 - Good books for …Cooking**! by Lady Daye & Ms. Kay*. *Book Club*
focuses on period cooking. Please bring a short list of your favorite food
related books. Discussion is Round Robin format.

*April 11 - "The Silver Lining in the Dark Ages, or, How Pennies Saved
Civilization" by Lady Godaeth. *The non-Byzantine European economy did not
end with Rome's "fall" in 476. Come hear a VERY brief survey of Western
European numismatic history, 476 to about 1016, with a few early medieval
coins to pass around.

*April 18 - Kumihimo Braiding with Lady Terryl*.  Try the Japanese art of
Kumohimo braiding. Learn history of the art and techniques. Class will be
hands-on, for 12 people.  Arrive on time to get your materials!

*St. Cecilia at the Tower (Sat April 30- Sun May 1, 2016)* St Paul United
Church of Christ, Saline, MI Mistress Jadwiga is event steward.  Budget
$400. Break even 67 Adults.

·          Request for crash space offers emailed to Barony.  Let Aaron and
Jadwiga know if you are able to host.

·         It is Commencement Weekend, so hotels will be scarce.  This would
be a good service to the Barony.

·         BAKESALE!  Sir Gregoire is organizing a bake sale at St. Cecilia
to *support the Chatelaine's "Cover NMS Fees for Newcomers" fund.*

·         If you would like to contribute baked goods to the process please
let him know. Looking for generous, single portion baked goods and other
sweets that can be sold for a dollar or two a piece, pre-bagged preferred,
but not required.

·         If you can,* please include an ingredient list with any donations
to alert people to potential allergens.*

*Spring Revel 2016* *April 17, 2016* Island Park Far Shelter.  Eadræd (MKA
Michael) Budget $250. 3rd of 3 meetings.

·         Budget= $137 for site, plus $25 for *Liquor permissions*, $88

weekend at the Fighter Retreat.

money for that purpose.  I’ve got a lot of books, for example.

training and practice opportunities at Spring Revel.

Aeffe:  Hanna has issued a* 50 Scroll Blanks by Pennsic Challenge *to the
Barony.  See her message of Tuesday 3/22.

Godaeth: A test run of the Archery Range at Forester Dillon’s was held last
week.  The first practice is planned for Sunday April 10, WEATHER
PERMITING.  Contact Godeath for directions at archery at cynnabar.org

She also updated our local practice info at the Official Scores Site.  See

*Other Group Discussion*

Please plan to submit *Proposals to be Steward for Terpsichore 2017* at the
1st meeting in May, Monday May 9th.

Kay and Ceara are discussing creating an *online archive for Event
Proposals and Final Reports*.

*Excel Spreadsheet of Event information:*  They are looking for past event
proposals and reports, too, hoping to gather some attendance and budget
numbers from past events to create a timeline of information that has
affected those events.  Gate count, weather information, local event
conflicts, Royalty attendance all have impact on planning.  See the email
message from Ceara earlier this week.
