Greetings fine citizens of the Barony of Cynnabar!

Below is a list of the workshops that will take place prior to the Baronial
Meetings for the month of May! Hope you can join us for one -- or all of
them.

Workshops are held in the same location as the Baronial Business meetings
from 6:30 pm until approx 7:25 pm just before the meeting begins. If you
have a workshop you are interested in teaching or something you'd like to
learn about -- please contact me!

*MAY 2016 PRE-MEETING WORKSHOPS*

*How to Run Gate*
*With Aelfric, Isle and Giovanna*
Interested in volunteering at Gate, running it as an event staff head, or
being an event steward? Then, this is the workshop for you!  Join the
Kingdom Exchequer, our Baronial Exchequer, as well as the event steward of
Grand Day 2016, Giovanna, to learn about how to budget, set registration
fees, track attendance, organize waivers and gate sheets, manage NMS, and
complete the event report.

*Bardic Basics*
*with His Excellency Ermenrich*
Prepare yourself for the Siege of Talonval's Bardic fun! Learn some
beginning SCA Bardic style songs to sing around the campfire just in time
for the summer camping season. All levels welcome.

*Enhancing your Pennsic Encampment*
*with Genoveva and Gregor*
Come learn how to enhance your personal Pennsic encampment in both its
appearance as well as your own quality of life. Learn how to make projects
from wood with basic tools and do not require special knowledge, skills, or
equipment. Handouts will be available for each camp project ($1/handout),
including our camp cart, kitchen worktable, sink with foot pump, trestle
table, benches, chairs, clothes rack, armor stand, and more.
