Please read below for our minutes from our Cynnabar Baronial Meeting of
August 21, 2025, at 7:00 pm where there were 14 in attendance.

Cynnabar Baronial Meeting August 21, 2025 - at 7:00 pm - 14 in attendance

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

   - Vikings come home (Sept 12-14) —  Baronial Cabin is full. We look
   forward to seeing everyone at the event!
   - No archery practice this weekend (8/24) – Will be the archery event,
   Rain of Arrows. There will be no practice that weekend. Most of that event
   will be happening on Sunday

         Daye has determined that she would like to step down in the fall
         -

         We had someone interested – They are connecting with Daye
         -

         Others are still welcome to find out more. Please reach out to
         Daye, Their Excellencies, or the Seneschal for more information.

      Chronicler (Newsletter) would like to step down (Godhit)
      -

         Godhit would like to transition from this role at the end of the
         year
         -

         Lambert has expressed interest and is already working as Godhit's
         Deputy
         -

         Excellencies, or the Seneschal for more information


Wassail! - (Sunday, December 14) Lead: Rosalyn McGregor, Meeting 2 of 3

   - Proposed date: Sunday, Dec 14th - 1 to 9 pm; To be held at Chelsea
   Fairgrounds.
   - The proposed budget is $175, which would cover supplies, rental, and
   insurance costs, plus an additional $250 security deposit once we clean.
   (Probably two checks will be needed.)
   - Would be a suggested donation of $10 pp, with a Breakeven is 18; We
   had approx 60 people attend last year
   - The day would consist of general Wassail activities, depending on what
   the group would like: potluck, firepit, Court, Dessert Auction, and
   possibly a garage sale


*EVENTS *Event Stewards are needed for upcoming events. Please reach out to
find out more information! (WILL TRAIN!)

*Grand Day of Tournaments* (October 25, Monroe Fairgrounds) - Lead: Giovanna

   - Now that we’re through Pennsic we’ll start to get more into planning
   for this event
   - Noted that there will be MANY volunteer opportunities to help
   - We will need at least 6 heralds. Reach out to Johannes if you can help
   - The Grand Day website is actively being updated
